great tip for creating polls in the personal meeting room!! thanks. I would love to have a video describing the differences between host and co-host capabilities and why one might want to be one versus the other. I'm a professor who will have a dedicated TA sitting in on class, so I anticipate assigning the TA as host so that s/he can launch polls and breakouts for me. I still need to visit breakout rooms though and I'm still a bit confused about what tasks I"ll have to assign to the TA if I'm not the host. Do I lose my "share screen" capabilities if I"m co-host and we have shut down screen sharing for student participants?

Thank you for your very simplistic tutorials for someone like me! Do you only do zoom videos? I would like to see and find out the differences between zoom and the new messenger room on FB that started a couple of months ago to compete with zoom. ( I have fb parties so I was wondering if it would be " simpler :)" to keep everyone on the same platform like fb instead of switching back and forth between a fb party over a couple of days and also host a zoom virtual gathering for the same event in one of those days.) Hi, GoToMeeting allows you to share mouse/keyboard control simultaneously with everyone in a meeting. Does Zoom have a similar feature? I work with kids and we play turn-taking games, everytime it is someone else's turn, I have to click give remote to person X, is there a better way of doing this?

I need to make a short Zoom tutorial for a group. How do I share my live Zoom screen so the participants can see my Zoom controls? Thanks!

God, I'm loving your channel and your style. I wonder if they have changed the polling feature. I have the latest version 5.3.0. , and a Pro account. In Meetings / Personal Room, You no longer scroll down to add polls. There are now 2 buttons just under the menu......"Details" and "Poll". Within "Poll" you can Add Poll, and add multiple questions, but you can only offer 2 answers to the questions. This is a severe limitation. It is not at all like the poll you can create for specific meetings. Have you seen this? I hope it get's corrected.

if I am a participant (not host) and not sharing my desktop but selected 3 different applications, in this case does the host knows that I am not sharing the whole desktop and only sharing 3 applications and for host, I am only moving between those 3 apps?

thank you I had several students change their name and I couldn’t figure out how to stop and fix it during my lesson. Now I can thank you! Also, Scott you videos are quick and so easy to follow. As a teacher I really need this. Here is my problem. Can I still share my screen while teaching if I have a second monitor so I can keep tabs on my 35 students. I now have a second monitor so I can see them, but I haven’t figured out this screen share. Also, what type of mic would you recommend for teaching.

Hi Alice. Yes, you should be able to use your second monitor to view your participants. Just drag the participants window into the 2nd screen and then you can increase the size so you can see all of your students. I hope that helps!

Why when after muting all (Alt M) unmuting is scattered some will "UNMUTE" other will " Ask to unmute" How come? where's the difference

Can you do a video on how to record a zoom lesson using two devices? I have one camera on me and one pointed down onto the table top (for the art project). When I record, only the "host" view shows. I cannot find any help on this. If you can help, thanks!

Select the Security button in the lower part of your screen. You can then select the option to allow others to share their screen.

Q: Can Zoom pin a message in chat?

All private chats show up if the host saves the chat at the end of the meeting.
