ABOUT:
Hi! I’m Valeria, and I’m a Ukrainian expat and digital nomad, currently living in Italy. I first came here without speaking the language and being totally unprepared, but pretty sure this is gonna be an adventure of a lifetime! I love discovering Italian culture, Italian people and, of course, Italian food. I'm a full-time content creator, so when I'm not making travel videos, I'm taking photos, writing and creating artworks. Studying is another passion of mine, and currently I’m finishing my Masters degree at the University of Bologna. Here I post regular travel vlogs, tips on expat life, moving abroad, personal growth and self-esteem as a woman living abroad, so hop on and welcome on board!

8:54 absolutely true. Some foreigners at post office may think that someone skip the queue, while actually they simply used the Poste app to book an appointment beforehand. You can book it even few minutes before going to the Post office! You're definitely an expat life professional advisor.

Very useful information for the 1st time expat. Having lived in Firenze and moving to Sicily soon, I can agree that these tips are very true!

Ho trovato la mia insegnante su italki. I found d a wonderful italian teacher on italki. She is from Reggio but lives in Canada. I’m in America so a teacher in Canada is much easier to schedule. ❤

K I haven't watched the video through yet but I have a ton of questions. Basically I watched someone try to bother a nation of Italians by eating food incorrectly (pizza with ketchup pasta with scissors wine and ice) I'd like to know why the reaction was to threaten to kick him out and or to take his food and drink away. I'd also like to know how easy it is to befriend an Italian right off the bat. Will they be just anybodies friend or do you have to know them for large amounts of time before you go beyond the barriers of stranger aquaintence frequent person and friend. I know smoking is still cool in France what are the opinions of smoke in itally? I'd ask about living accommodations but I presume you cover it in this video. Edit: would you say Italians act "Canadian" when you begin to show interest in the language?
