My wife and I were just in Milan about a month ago. We flew into there from the US and stayed there for two days on both ends of our Bologna trip. We stayed in a lovely hotel just across from Castello Sforzesco and while the city seemed okay, it was definitely raining a lot, so we didn't explore that much. Thankfully we did have one sunny afternoon where packed in seeing the Castle, the Galleria, and the Duomo. Definitely liked the vibe of Bologna MUCH more, but then we were there for about 10 days and the weather was mostly better and we relaxed a lot more. I don't want to write off Milan, yet, though. I think we would've liked it more had we had more time to explore things. And I hope to go back someday.
I was disappointed when I first visited Milan back in 2008 but I went without a plan and without money. I returned two years ago and had a very different experience. Liked it so much I'm going again this July. This video is right on time! Grazie mille!
Milan is an ugly city
Nobody besides you obviously hates everything about Milan. Milan is anything but boring...
So many war countries/cities and still people complain when they live in a war free country 🤦🏻♀️
I have only been to the airport in Milan, but it's now on my list of places to visit. 😊 Thank you!
Alpes are not far from Miláno, can you show us domě tips?
Thank you for confirming Millan is not worth visiting
you have some niice buildings in Milan no question about it and good job to show some other angle to it. But the points you are trying to make is wrong. "Features of milan" as you said is valid if you live in MIlan. It is a different discussion to make "is milan a great city to live?" Or milan as "a great tourist destination". First can be true, second not so much. There are much nicer cities in Italy and in europe to "visit" for a few days or a week. And that is the reason it gets much hate, not because it has no advantages. i.e. living there rather than visiting.
Being a tourist, I thought it was definitely worth a few days' visit. The food in itself makes it a worthwhile stop.
Thank you for this video! You're doing a great job, love your channel! 👏😁
The only place I've been that i hated in Italy so far is Pisa. I was spiked and robbed there. But even before that I didn't like it. Definitely a place to skip or only visit for couple hours max.
Love your videos! So fun to watch!
It's Italy! Let people be grateful they're there! Not everyone who would love just to be in the country can get there! 🙋🙏🇮🇪🏴👌🫡🙂
hi Valeria! just out of curiosity, where are you from? i'm italian and i like your channel
I have been to Milan several times (most recently in November) and have always enjoyed it. It doesn't deserve its poor reputation. The science museum and Castello Sforzesco are well worth visiting. But I will confess my favourite Italian city - not that far from Milan - is Turin.

wow I am shocked at the content of this Video
Wanted to be your 1000 like! 😅💕
It all depends on what money you have in the bank and where you move…but if money is no problem and you choose well…it will be the best choice of your life…I am Italian and live in Uk…I wouldn’t do go back to live in Italy myself… But it is amazing …dolce vita life
Interesting video
I’ve been to Asia many times and never had a problem, even the US there’s not much problem ,but anytime I go to Europe it’s a huge problem, like graffiti. Southern Europe is a scum hole.
The international office was really prompt and fast in answering my silly questions over email.
Your basic message is for people to be open minded about cultural differences, lifestyles, and environment. I’ve seen the “ugly American” syndrome all too often, unfortunately. Thanks for your message and insight 😊
I have to disagree with everything you said, I lived there for 3 years and loved it, and am planning on retiring there.
do people get in the water?
Wow, love your italian!
Unfortunately, 2024's best city to live in will likely be 2025's worst city to live in, especially if it's on the smaller side.
where i can find your own article about italy.
I live in Milan and I'm very happy about that! You have mountains, glaciers, plans, countryside, Mediterranean sea, stunning lakes just one or 2 hours away.... ❤
Yes i spent almost 5.300 euro for a pre cancer treatment that's 6000usd? I could have waited 1yr but couldn't risk
Nobody controls and checks baggage weights on Italian trains. Most of those rules are just on paper, especially in Italy.
i would love to have some more information about scholarship :D
Me to did you find any information
I'm travelling from Trieste to lake Garda and then onto Milan airport after a short stay. I will have 1 large suitcase and a small cabin bag, so will my partner. I'm going to travel by train and use the code. 👍
Hi
climate change is hoax, reduce carbon print is a joke
2 years later (now, she's still posting from Italy)
If YOU are not happy why are you assuming that anyone else won't be? Everyone is different. Haven't you find out yet?
What about service dogs on the train. We have not yet traveled with my Service Dog (Labrador) on the train yet.
I've heard service dogs travel for free all over Europe, but it's better to double check it with the train company!
You are the beautiful face and source of light of Italy
it is called gnocco fritto or torta depends on where you are
Gnocco fritto in Reggio Emilia and torta fritta in Parma I believe
Hi I am newly subscribed to you . We want to go to Italy at end December and in January. Which is better , Puglia or Tuscany . We love churches and culture but not hectic crowds
Hi and welcome! In December and January there aren't crowds anywhere, and both regions are stunning! I'd suggest Tuscany as I'd be a bit concerned about humidity and wind in Puglia in winter. Besides, Puglia is a great summer destination thanks to all the stunning places that are located near the sea!
You have no idea what you are talking about.
I had to stop this at 3:18 Milans accomodation is super expensive …
I would like the answer to that question also.
