I made a tincture full of cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, tumeric, and a few other herbs and spices. I also like to make herbal teas with things like hibiscus flowers, stining nettle, tumeric, and various other herbs.

Anyone who buys pure Turmeric powder you need to combine with Black Pepper, and or Piperine. The health benefits in Turmeric come from curcumin, benefits from Black Pepper come from Piperine. The Piperine activates and greatly enhances curcumin absorption. 😊👍

DR. STORY'S "DEEP BREATHING EXERCISES" I BELIEVE, SAVES ME FROM HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE DISASTERS. DO THEM 3-5 SETS A DAY FOR 5 MINUTES OR SO ON THE ONES YOU LIKE. USUALLY MY DANGER SIGNALS ARE "WONKY HEAD AND/OR WEAKNESS. NOT IN CONTROL OF THE WEIRD HEAD FEELING. TAKE MY BP AND SURE ENOUGH IT USUALLY IS OVER 200/220 OR HIGHER ETC. NOT GOOD AND I CALL IT THE STROKE ZONE. START "DEEP BREATHING EXERCISES "NOW !!!" I DO SEVERAL SETS UNTIL MY SYSTOLIC COMES UNDER 200 AND KEEP GOING UNTIL IT'S AT LEAST 150'S AND LOWER. USUALLY MY DIASTOLIC # ISN'T TOO BAD BUT THE SYSTOLIC # CAN BE SCARY !!! USUALLY IT CAN BE RELATED TO MY POLITIC UPDATES. SO NOW I DEEP BREATH WHILE UPDATING CURRENT DISASTERS. THE WEIRD THING THOUGH, IS I DON'T FEEL UPSET READING THE UPDATES. WATCH AND SEE IF THIS SETS YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE OFF !!! EVEN WHEN I GO TO BED, WAY TOO LATE, I DO DEEP BREATHING JUST AS A BONUS FOR ME. 5 - 10 MINUTES OF EXTRA DEEP BREATHING CAN'T HURT EVEN IF YOUR BP IS OK !!! THANKS DR. STORY FOR YOUR AWESOME VIDEOS.

@@AdamJStoryDC Sodium is a necessary element for the blood, the absence of which by itself can cause high blood pressure. For several months I started having stroke level blood pressure which cost me a trip to the Emergency Room. A blood test revealed nothing significant that would cause high blood pressure EXCEPT that my sodium was low. To my inquiry as to whether she thought this may have anything to do with my pressure reading, the doctor said she didn't think so. The handout she placed in my discharge folder, however, indicated that when any of the electrolyte minerals is off blood pressure could be negatively affected. I fixed it by adding 1/4 tsp salt to each quart of water and drank two quarts of water daily recommended by a natural healing doctor. The salt must be a mineral balanced salt like Celtic sea salt with 84 minerals and Himalayan pink salt with 74 minerals. (These are available at a health food or whole foods store) The commonly used plain iodized table salt is the culprit in this epidemic of High blood pressure. It contains only sodium and chloride besides the iodide and anticaking agent. Its liberal use in most processed foods and the habit of people in adding it to food at the table contribute to raising blood pressure. My pressure is much more stable now although not quite as stable as it should be. I have found out that very high unstable blood pressure is more difficult to control as it is possibly related to other things going on in the body such as diabetes, tumors, strictures, kidney disease, or the loss of a kidney even which I did 41 years ago; also chronic distress.

This is so frustrating. I recently had a stent put in my heart, and now I'm supposed to take drugs that make my blood vessels more pliable - and now I probably shouldn't eat all these wonderful foods anymore because they also relax the blood vessels. I was so healthy and perky, but the drugs drag me down. They may keep my blood from clotting and relax the veins, but I don't feel healthy anymore. Having to deal with the side effects is depressing. Bosh! I'm in my 80's, so I can't really complain. My high blood pressure and cholesterol levels have caught up with me.

8:31 Love your videos. For once I don’t have to pull out my credit card to check out the info. If they help lower my BP, I will definitely become a member. Love the fresh roasted pistachios I buy from a small Lebanese grocery: Caf’ Noisette.

Cayenne pepper and L arginine. You can get them both at your grocery store. I get the cayenne pepper in capsules just makes it easier but if you take a lot it will burn your stomach not literally but it’ll make it hurt. Make sure to eat food first.

OK you, Dr Adam, escaped the variety of best seed/s - I need to know. Have been using all goodies except Cinnamon and seeds for some moons now but figure more is better than less. Just a helping hand for those with maybe problems eating whole nuts - I have my own teeth but can still struggle SO I put my almonds (difficulty obtaining pistachios but still hunting) in my "bullet" using ice blade, and blitz to a meal to dump onto honey drizzled toast and use as desert after boiled egg breakfast. I usually make up a kg of this and store in glass jars ... not lazy but very time poor !! P.S. I use Tumeric in "GOLDEN MILK" and it is drunk with my breakfast & include minced Ginger into the mix. Please let me know if anyone would like the full recipe - am having a "spicey life" and loving it !!

Ceylon cinnamon is the best. It also lowers blood sugar. With turmeric, if you use it as a food you have to hit it with black pepper to make it more bioavailable.

@@mabeldike4887 - Simple... Cut out the meds (except any that are actually keeping you alive). Stop drinking (alcohol) and smoking. Also, try cutting down your caffeine intake. Drink more water, though not to excess. Take up a high fibre low fat diet, with lots of fresh fruit and veg. Start exercising - begin with brisk walking EVERY day, rain hail or shine. Use a pedometer to measure your progress. And finally, keep away from KZread videos which promise the world, but in fact only exist to take money off you in the form of books, videos, Patreon and affiliated Amazon links.
