Well, I’d say the jerks are most likely covering up something else he doesn’t like with something superficial as an excuse. Even if the superficial thing was the problem he had in his head consciously, it was most likely something else that he sub-consciously doesn’t like. To be honest acne is something I really never cared about.. I am a girl so I don't know the guys perspective but a few of my crushes had acne and that didn't stop me from crushing on them on the contrary I found it really attractive. So I think that guys don't mind acne as well

I wouldn't worry about it too much. but I had a similar problem, and then I found out that I was sensitive to milk, so I stopped eating dairy and it went away. so sometimes food sensitivities/allergies can make your body hold on to belly fat, as well. maybe that will help. but of course that may not apply to you. And I'm sure you're fine! Also, a guy has told me that they don't really care.

Ok....I have to say...there ARE alot of jerks and shallow men that actually do care about some of these things. Some men are not so kind. You’re so right. I thought that most guys don’t care but they DO. There will always be competition and men who think very highly of themselves will always believe they deserve the ultimate best kind of perfection and won’t settle for anything less. I’m over it lol. You can always tell who’s petty and shallow by the way they approach their looks AND yours. Comments and critiques here and there. Keep your eyes open and you will see it.

Girls are insecure about making the first move because we have been told all out lives that we shouldn’t. We’re told that guys want the chase and if you make the first move he doesn’t have to chase you so he won’t feel like you’re his prize and want to keep you to himself. He’ll just see you as desperate or easy and maybe be down to sleep with you or date you casually but wouldn’t be interested in locking you down because he didn’t have to work to get you... easy come easy go. Maybe it’s fucked up but that’s honestly how girls have been programmed to think about making the first move.

Honestly hair might be a slight turn off for some guys, but I can guaranty that it will not be a deciding factor in if he likes you or not. Same with acne. If he likes you, he’ll notice your beauties not the less attractive bits. I will say though for first impressions shaving would probably be good. It’s all subjective.

For the point of making the first move, at least for the situation I'm in right now, I think it's more about the in security of not having reciprocated feelings, because we've been taught to think that if a guy likes you, he will make the first move. So then it's just kinda an endless cycle of insecurity that you're making a fool of yourself (Edit): also, so idk if I'm the only one, but is anyone else insecure about their voice being too low? Like, my voice isn't super low, but I don't have the cute, high pitched, preppy voice that all of my friends seem to have and I've realized that whenever I'm talking to a guy I like I raise my pitch

I used to be really insecure about making the first move exactly because of the fear that my feelings won’t be reciprocated. Yes, sometimes it will feel like you are making a fool of yourself but don’t try to make the guy interested in you, try to get to know him a little more, this way you start a conversation and show him more of yourself. Probably it won’t happen the first time you try it, trust me! But once you do approach a guy first it feels really good to know that you can actually do it! Even if he isn’t interested, be open minded, have little expectations and roll with it. As for the low voice - I also have a low voice and I’ve never felt the need to make it higher simply because nobody notices this anyway. Besides, the guy that I am currently seeing (who got interested in me after I approached him first 😉) says that whenever I talk to him my voice sounds lower and he finds it very attractive. Not all men are the same, but I think they like women with lower voices because they sound sultry in some way 😁

Allison Garippo I have a pretty high pitched voice but it's definitely not cute or anything. I personally think very high pitched voices are more annoying than cute. And low voices are nice to hear, I can literally listen to a low voice twice as long as to a high voice. And I think that's not just my opinion just so you know :) I would love to have a lower voice

I'm in my 20s and still a virgin. I just haven't found someone worth dating in my opinion. Plus also in the past I've had some not great experiences.... I’m literally insecure about everything.... -I’m to tall -my nails look horrible (I bit them when I was younger, a lot, and they deformed) -My laugh (it sounds like the hyena from the lion king king) -I sweat more then literally everyone (I had to dance with a guy and my hands were drenched, I literally enter any room and I’m sweating) And many more, but I still love myself and if a guy doesn’t like it to bad for him I’m an awesome person 👍

You have to stop having these negative thoughts about yourself. You can actually re-train your brain and I strongly encourage you to do this. Why? !! If you have these insecurities you can set yourself up to have anxiety, depression and to allow yourself to let the wrong guy in. Let me tell you it could be a very bad guy and it could affect your life forever. There are some things if we don't like about ourselves we can fix. Bad nails, get them done. Want to feel healthier workout. In the end though we absolutely need to love ourselves first. Positive affirmations, say them in the mirror loud and clear 3 times a day kiddo. Hard work gets us the best results in life. Takes work to love ourselves sometimes too!!

I'm dipping my toes into dating after being divorced for 10 years. I'm almost 60, but have been told I look in my mid 40's. However, even though I look younger, I have insecurities about my body and feel very self conscious about being intimate. This video kinda helped. I do workout, but getting in shape takes time. Two options, love who you are and eventually someone Will do the same - ppl like different things and not every guy prefer a slim one... Or loose it. I see no problem in using wanting a different view from others on yourself to make changes to be healthy. As long as it is also to make You happier. I’ve been chubby, kinda slim and obese. I had a time where I was single and a busy student and just didnt feel like putting in the effort for all the self-control needed daily with food and exercises and slowly I gained. I realised that if it was just for Me, not to also be more attractive to others, I wouldn’t have enough motivation to change my habits. I feel Much better when I am mindful of what i am eating and getting excercise reguraly so nowadays I am perfectly fine with using other ppls view on me to push me the extra mile I am in the long run Happier for.

Honestly I used to think guys wouldn’t like me because of my weight and I was never fat but I was never skinny and now I know that the people who like me like me for who I am. Which is awesome! I’ve started to take care of myself by eating well and working out and ended up losing the weight. So it all worked out in the end and I’m happy. The outside is exactly that, an outside if you work on your heart and your character the outside will follow and if it doesn’t then you’re still a better person at the end of it. So it’s a win win either way.

Some guys are like that but not all. If a guy isn’t gonna be interested just because you approach him, then he isn’t worth it! I think it’s just about not being too direct. I asked a few guys in the past to hangout with us in a group and it was cool. I wouldn’t come up to them and say “ heyyyy you’re so cute”. I’ll just be chill and ask them to hang out with my group! But yeah, I’ve stopped doing that. Most guys I meet are in bars and clubs. Just not worth the time and they’re never looking for anything serious.

Taylor Sipp - yeah I’ve approached guys a few times and it never worked out in my favor. I guess I was tired of only ugly looking dudes approaching me, sorry to be so crass but it’s true. Ugly guys know they have nothing to lose and are used to rejection. But eventually they know they might get lucky with 1 girl and it’s worth it to them. Good looking guys, on the other hand... I am not insecure so much of my body, I get the impression that guys I like are put off me for a couple of reasons and the first being almost 26 and still being a virgin never actually dated at all, it's just my own opinion really about wanting to wait til I'm in a stable strong relationship, and the 2nd due to my health issues including sustaining a traumatic brain injury, I have a few other health issues and men always seem to be put off by one or both of these things and I feel like I'm never going to find someone i connect with on a deep meaningful relationship who I can connect with on a deeper level, someone who I can have a laugh and be childish with one minute and then have conversations like about life and about the future and anything in between, I've never been able to find anyone who likes me for me or I haven't been able to figure out if someone actually likes me enough to date me. P.S. I was 5 ft 4 when i was 19 and I'm now 25 almost 26 (next month) and i'm now 5 ft 1, I had a fall straight on to my head from a tree about 20ft high when i was 19 and damaged my spine and squished it in a way that I've actually lost 3 inches in height over the space of 3 years and will never get it back, I actually like my height (now) I never used to like being small but then i think to myself I could've died and I didn't and here i am a survivor who has fought back from so much, survived 6 traumatic brain injuries, I'm proud of how far I have come, I'm sorry for the length of this comment, I'd just like know how to tell if a guy likes you if you have issues like myself that you can't figure out social queues anymore e.g. in some of your video's I can't tell when people are doing them actions, due to my brain damage, I feel that people are put off by my health issues and that I won't ever be able to find anyone tbh, plus add that to being an old soul it's always been pretty tricky even talking to people my own age let alone dating someone as I never really want to gossip or talk about celebrities, I want conversations where we can bounce off each other and learn things about a subject and about each other etc, is that so much to ask for? I sorta knew that height doesn’t matter. It’s refreshing to hear. I’m a tall girl so it feels great. I am extremely picky with height when dating someone. I’ve always dated people taller than me. One thing I used to be insecure about, but not any more is eating food in front of guys. When I was like 15 my friend told me (with so much conviction) that girls aren't supposed to eat in front of guys they like or are dating. This was a huge shock to me having 5 younger brothers, but still made me really self conscious so I always made sure to eat before a date, or starve until I got home. I have since gotten over that seeing as I LOVE to cook gourmet meals & enjoy sharing my food.

My ex bf does not apply to #2 because he despises girls who hooked up with guys in the past...

It's kinda reassuring to hear that guys like it (or at least secure guys do) when girls make the first move. I've always been taught that it's up to the guy, and end up feeling impatient and frustrated when it doesn't happen. Also, when he said that if a guy likes a girl, that's it. Nothing else matters. I used to feel incredibly insecure about my weight/body shape and thought that a guy would never give me a first or second look because of it, but then I saw couples who were overweight and madly in love, so that shifted my whole perspective. Especially seeing one of my friends get married and make jokes in front of her husband about her weight. He'd actually get annoyed at her self-deprecation and insist that she was beautiful. Bless them both!

I love being tall but some guys are pricks not all though so, literally millions of people in the US alone

I never had a cellulite before not until he came into my life. And now I'm starting to have some stretch marks because he impregnated me lol. Anyways, you have the same opinion with my boy, he doesn't care about all those stuffs.

This helped me so much but living in this horrible little small town that I do and me being 5'9 I have been called to tall many times by guys and it kind sucks but Im im highschool so hopefully they'll grow out of that mindset soon.
