It gets toxic when you’re with a guy that won’t lead , can’t lead and they still resent you for their short comings. Or when you give them opportunities to lead, they make you feel like you’re not self sufficient or disorganized.

That usually means the guy is using the girl he is with. It's a huge red flag. Men are motivated to lead when we find something pure, and innocent that hasn't been tarnished by life experience. When we find it, we want to protect that and create a safe secure environment that is protected from life experience (life is harsh). Men have deep desire to find innocemce like that, that triggers us to feel ready to die for it. It's the puspose of our existence, that we feel inside ourselves since being young boys. Of course, the girl must have the physical and behavioral traits worth dying for. It's why there are so many white knights. In other words, even the most Beta of male's impulses to provide and protect is triggered when men encounter something worth providing for and protecting from the harshness of life experience. When the guy doesn't lead, it means he's not motivated to provide and protect. It means he doesn't feel there is enough innocence that's worth dying for. As a man, you know you've found the one, when you realize you'd sacrifice yourself in a million ways in a heartbeat. That's our romantic need. But we also have a completely seperate sexual need, that's insatiable. For us, these two desires are not connected, like it is for women. It's why men use women. It's for sex. A man cambeasily enter a relationship purely for sex, and will keep their access to sex going as long as possible, because our brains are not wired like women's brains. Most male relationships, are of this type...probably 90%. He will say and do anything to keep the sex coming...he will tell you what you want to hear. A man who sees you as worth dying for, will tell you what you don't want to hear, knowing it might cause the sex to stop coming. Humans can't choose what we feel. The core of things we want, feel, and are attracted to are hard-coded into our DNA. The biggest red flag, is a man who's main focus is to appease you, and not protect you, as if from yourself. If you know you don't need protecting from yourself, then it means you don't posses the almost childlike pure naive innocence that triggers men to want to provide, protect and die for.

@@tylerdurden3722 If this is true, this only confirms the fact that men have not evolved socially in accordance to modern times. The world we live in now prepares women to be resilient and cognizant that we can only be in control of our futures. Gone are the days where women were reliant on a man for their livelihoods. Mens resistance and infantilization of women will continue to affect their chances of having meaningful relationships if they do not wake up and realize that we still need them, just not in the ways their grandparents and fairytales told them so…

Louder for the sis in the back🙌🏽 My mantra at the moment is, ‘I am not a strong black woman’ because this is what was instilled in us to be go getters, independent, hardworking, not need a man etc. and this exudes masculinity and I’m not involved. After a lot of HEALING, My vibe right now has been peace, soft life and abundance✨ Side note: if you have MORE masculine energy this attracts a man with MORE feminine energy so there that

Sis you said it even better, it takes alot of healing to get over this mindset that was instilled in us, i also got to realize that most of the concerns surrounding the men we attract not being as “manly” or not being in control as we would like is because we already give that energy and naturally they settle in the opposite even if they had the masculine energy at the initial stage or they just get overwhelmed and leave, its soft life all way babes, i cant come and die on top strong woman😆😘❤️

In the dating world a feminine should not be: 1. You come out as if you are a boss babe. Acting too much to prove you don't need him. Rather appreciate him and allow him to help you. 2. You want to take charge, a controlling vibe. Let him be the man. 3. You chase a man meaning trying to get his attention but it's not a crime to show interest to a man. 4. Don't compete with him, be supportive. 5. You allow a man to propose to you and not the other way round. He should be the one to pop the question.

This video helped me in two ways actually. I learned that I should have a "type" when it comes to the kind of men I want to have around me. Because I am a strong willed person.. I need someone who's more masculine than me. I can't be around someone who's lazy and doesn't get hungry for curiosity... my ideal match wouldn't be someone who's comfortable being stagnant. While working on ways that I can be more feminine, I can also notice when my partners laissez-faire approach to life doesn't give me enough room to be feminine. This really opened my eyes to moments where I felt like I had to take the lead because my partner either wasn't capable or wasn't even thinking enough about the next step. So yes, be more feminine.. but also stop dating people who are comfortable doing less than the bare minimum.

It took such a long time to realize that my intention was not wrong. That I was indeed with the wrong person. Very helpful. I think a glaring missing component at least in USA culture is that pretty much since Gen X and younger -men are not reared on how to take the lead. Too many of them are raised solely by women and then for this same generation the women were pushed into extreme independence. Also so many men today of these generations literally get jealous of women who are high earners and doing well. The other missing component is that when the traditional roles of men and women have been shifted but no solid “rules” have been established many men don’t know where they fit and as women we don’t know how to balance this new playing field with old school romance. But overall I agree with all of your tips.

He's given me SEVERE PTSD. I have debilitating paralyzing daily panic attacks. He raped my soul. He used me while he needed me and then discarded me like garbage. My soul is raped. When he'd get mad/upset/hurt/whatever: he'd give me the silent treatment. REMINDER TO SELF: Reasons for narcissistic silent treatment: * Stonewalling * Gaslighting * Emotional immaturity * Lack of interpersonal skill * Victimhood * Dysregulation * Avoidant attachment style * Doing to me, what was done to him * Terrified of conflict * Not knowing any other way * Fear/panic/anxiety/terror * Felling incapable/not good enough * Desperation * Power over * Regaining a (false) sense of control * Punishment EVEN STILL, regardless of the above, I miss him and what we had, our friendship, our connection: WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING. But he never really cared about me. He used me and discarded me. Replaced me so easily. Why is she better than me? Why? What makes her so much more profoundly better than me? Is he her best friend now? Or maybe is there even more between them? Why couldn't he love me like he loves her? Is there something wrong with me? Is she just so much better? He's replaced me with another. In an instant: just like that. HE REPLACED ME. HE SHATTERED MY HEART. HE RAPED MY SOUL. I'm all alone and suffering in anguish, and they are living happily ever after together. The PTSD and the loneliness and the grief that he's given me... Makes it so that I can't breathe. I drowned. I suffocate. I die inside. I'm in hell with no escape. NO ESCAPE. I need him. I loved him. He raped my soul: brutally viciously violently maliciously. Every night: nightmares. Every day: panic attacks. I want to die. Every morning I wake up in despair, desperately praying to die. I can no longer bear the pain. I could die from the pain of missing my best friend. He betrayed and abandoned me, discarded me like garbage. My mind can't fathom, my heart can't comprehend. I live in perpetual panic and terror and loneliness and longing... I'm so alone in the world. I die of fear. I'm so fucking traumatized and terrorized and terrified. I'm dying inside. My soul is raped. He's given me severe PTSD. Severe! Severe! Severe! How and when will I ever heal? God, as I walk through this hell and heartache and grief, I pray you guide me and direct me and hold me and heal me... I won't be stuck in hell anymore. Enough is enough!!! It's time to be free: in Jesus's name! I’m giving my life to Jesus! 100%! ANOTHER REMINDER TO SELF: When you chase a man, you NEVER get the man, and you ALWAYS lose yourself! (PROVERBS 18:22 I FAITHFULLY PRAY FOR THE HUSBAND GOD HAS ORDAINED FOR ME!)

I hope you have started your healing journey✨ I’m really sorry for what he put you through, none of it was your fault. And that new woman he replaced you with, if she’s still with him, he’s treating her the same unfortunately. People like this don’t change. Trust and believe, him discarding you is a BLESSING in disguise❣️ You will flourish and grow and heal and become a much better version of yourself, you just have to allow yourself to✨✨ you deserve it all I promise❣️feel how you feel, you’re entitled to it.

And even though i didn't curse, when we were talking about a subject. I guess i did say a vulgar word passively about something and I noticed him go silent for a sec. It really felt like i forced a guy to come along and he's just sitting there, listening me talk. I didn't find anything wrong with it at the time but he and I don't hang out anymore :/ this seems different and I know this is good advice but it's such a shock, I'm used to making sure i know what we're doing and where

Side note: I've always felt less feminine than the females around me and felt alienated, and I always wanted to be more like that but it always seemed like so much and not-practical? I work with my hands all the time and the long and well kept nails were always something i saw as extra or attention seeking but i always felt envious of how pretty they were. I hope one day i can be more feminine without feeling exhausted and actually feel motivated to take care of myself because i don't. I do the bare minimum for self care, even for hair, which is why i cut it. But yeah, i love the video, very enlightening.

I totally agree with number 3. I feel that, concerning the proposal stuff, if the girl has been totally feminine in the relationship, or totally commitment shy, and the other guy is mad over her, and comfortable in his masculinity, he usually thinks it's cute. I know a male friend who thought it was super cute when his girlfriend proposed, ended up buying her a way more expensive engagement ring. Sometimes unconventional romance is the sweetest, but when it becomes a thing then.......

Though I agree with what you said, I don't think a woman should approach a man to express interest. He should, in my opinion, show you that he likes you and initiate contact before the lady expresses interest in him as well. I vehemently disagree when women want guys to marry them. My male friend's brother had feelings for his present wife. Although he was still in the early stages of his job, he still intended to pop the question to her and wanted to make sure she got the ring when she eventually did. People will remark, "Well, that worked." You must realize that he intended to pop the question to the love of his life. It ultimately succeeded since this was what he desired. He still thinks that his wife stole the opportunity to arrange his proposal, and he wishes she had allowed him to do so. She is unaware of his feelings, but his brother and I are aware of them.
