I laughed very hard at the intro😂 My man loves cycling and I started asking him about bikes, riding etc. he couldn’t believe it. He said no one has ever taken an interest in him like I do. Now he tells me lots of stories about his rides and how he cleans his bikes etc... I find it soo cute and I love listening to him no matter what he’s saying.

Regarding to the number 5 My man got a new smartphone and he said "I wanna open my new smartphone with you" then days later he visit me in my house and I thought he's just gonna show me his new phone but to my surprise he bought 2 smartphone! I hear you. In watching these I found myself thinking about the past; and realizing what I didn’t know! My new friend is a breath of fresh air. It started with each of us saying we wanted to meet kind people - like genuinely realizing that’s not so easy. That was vulnerability and an acknowledgment of past hurts, and wanting to do things differently. Mat has reminded us of something- how open are you to letting love in? I know I haven’t been but slowly working on it. I hope you can, too.

Oh my gosh, #1. I was ready to throw in the towel on my new relationship. I told him, "I've realized-- I don't need any of this." His response was to physically move closer and say, "You may not need it... But do you WANT it?" That was the key I needed to unlock my heart. Fighting for me, indeed. It's been transformational. 😭💖💖

Started dating again and he is amazing. He tells me daily he adores me and said I was valuable. No man has said those words to me. Ditto here. Im on my 2nd "right guy" When I met my man i was a fresh widow of 6 months. I knew what i wanted and i was strict. My man rose to every challenge i gave him. 4 yrs later We r engaged and happily live together.

I had no idea he thought of me as the "one" but he showed me in his actions. He held back but wouldn't get scared off nor would he let me go. 20 years later he's just opening up about his deep thoughts about me and its wonderful.

I had a guy who searched for me for 4 months when I vanished due to a nervous breakdown. We just reconnected. I’m beyond floored that this guy didn’t just give up looking for me…especially because we are in separate countries. The tenacity…like it doesn’t seem real that he could care that much about me when we haven’t met in 3D yet. He also told me that he was proud of me for buying a new guitar (we’re both passionate guitarists) and for continuing to make music. I’ve never had anyone say anything like this to me. And he just forgave me for disappearing and putting him through agony looking for me. Angels exist. I need to see this person in real life soon. He’s amazing!!

He was like it snowed finally; just wanted to share that with you 😊 and then he thanked me for showing such kindness, thoughtfulness and love and he said I was an example of a true kind soul and I’m redefining the word for him 🥰 that truly showed him how much I mean to him because I have never had a guy genuinely care about me that way. Mat, I related to your shoe story. I was dating a man years ago that called at the last minute and asked me to get dressed up that he was coming to pick me up and take me out. I was a mess from just giving the dog a bath. So my roommate helped with the dog and I ran upstairs to get ready. Well, it was worth it to see the look on his face when he picked me up as I came downstairs. It wasn't until we got to the restaurant and seated at the bar until our table was ready. We were talking and he looked down and then back up at me with this strange grin on his face and said. "Nice shoes do you have another pair at home?" I looked down and I was wearing two different colored shoes. One navy blue and the other black. I was mortified and he started laughing which made me laugh. In our rush, not me, my roommate nor he noticed my mistake. He told me I still looked beautiful. The shoes were the same style but I made sure to put a light color pair between them in order not to make that mistake again. So I laughed again at the memory. The occasion was he had gotten a big commission check at work and wanted to take me out to celebrate. We had a wonderful time.

Wow just wow HE SAID IT! HE ACTUALLY SAID IT. I told him I was scared and that i was worried I wasn't going to be able to open up to him the same way. It would take time for me to trust him. He looked me in the eyes and said " well, guess what, you're not getting rid of me that easy. Suck it up buttercup. You're the one for me. " I've also heard " Yep, I choose you Pikachu, so figure it out " When I'm saying things like "are you sure this is what you want?" He said " watch me! " WHAT?? 🤣🤣🤣 3 out of 5? I can't 😵😵‍💫 So, after the video, I'm guessing he may actually be into me. 😸🌻

Mine said the same thing, and after a while he left and never came back....

Once he was having a vacation with his group of friends. First, he told me about what happened along the trip after he got home. And then the next day, he posted on his social media, a picture of him sitting by the seashore, along with a one-word-caption which is the special nickname he made for me. I can't stop smiling whenever I see that post :'3

Mine told me #1 not too long ago. He is the first guy I've dated since a toxic relationship and I dated and tried seeing what was out in the world. This man, has lifted me up, made me laugh so much, comforts me and validates my feelings, puts in the effort even though we live 40 mins from each other on opposite sides of the city. He's given me hope, excitement and has given me the ability to trust him. My last relationship was so broken and I felt so alone. He makes me feel like I matter and I don't have to struggle through challenges alone. He's my blessing.

One of the hardest things I've done this year is open my heart up to someone. We've both been hurt many times before, so we made a deal to give eachother all our confidence and honesty. Our relationship has been intense since we first met and it's the first time I don't stammer around a guy; it is totally natural. He has shared so much about himself, especially about his family and upbringing - just today he was showing me funny videos he likes and his old tumblr page which was really emo (basically what he looked like back in his early 20s, his thoughts back then which were dark) - he even shared where he used to skateboard (his happy place) and that he actually really misses it. But the 2 things that get me and that I have never gotten from other relationships - he actually listens to me!! He will randomly bringing back into conversation what I said previously, or remember to get me what I asked etc. Very attentive. ALSO, he asks me questions and genuinely wants to know the answers.

Those first 1 minute 47 seconds were the best, most romantic movie I’ve ever seen. 10/10 would watch again.

Earlier in the relationship I'm currently in I was getting ahead of myself and without thinking I said something dumb. I was sure he would either freak out and dissappear or get a wrong impression of me and would try rush things ahead. Instead he told me it aint a big deal, that he is getting ahead of himself as well and that he wants to take it slow, as did I even I said what I said. And I must admit my very first thought was "gosh, this sort of guys really exist!"

I suggest you read up on Viktor Frankl and Elkhart Tolle (the power of now). Frankl talks about the power to choose your response and not simply having a(knee-jerk) or emotional reaction. Saying something "dumb" is the same as saying something prematurely out of desire? Cut yourself some slack. No one seems quicker to judge us than us.

This is one of the most inspirational and rememberable videos I've watched. Seriously excellent content!

Ahhh Mat, I see what my husband was thinking now when we were dating! A couple of weeks or months in, I nervously told him over dinner about three big things that I felt might have been deal breakers in the fledgling relationship. This is great & so true! We are taking things slow, not in a relationship yet but he invites me on dates/adventures so that (in his words) "Get more acquainted with each other." It's funny, I never think of a guy as being nervous to talk to a girl or that he even has all those thoughts like it showed in the beginning clip. To me, guys attitudes are "whatever" and really don't care if a girl likes them or not, very indifferent to feelings, thoughts, etc.

Just started seeing this you, he told me he wasn't even thinking about a relationship and boom I came along. This video is so relatable.

He made me a play list with special songs I've never heard played anywhere. I asked why he made me this. He answered in a really cool way ; this is music you should like. And it turned out to be this amazing songs that totally melted my heart. And speaking of men acting cool with a well hidden crazy mix of feelings inside. That was discovered when he found out the order of the songs was not how he planned. His freak out eyes some days after was just funny. That just melted my heart even more when I understood he planned this so well to make it work

The Sky! story is so similar to my Moon story. When I’m apart from my guy, I imagine we both gaze at the moon. My thoughts and feelings I send to the moon so they can bounce off the moon and go right to him, and he likewise.

I do that too, both moon and sun. He lives in the West Coast and I'm currently in the Midwest, so since moon and sun big head that direction, I send him love via the moon and sun, sometimes. 🥰

One thousand percent I was watching the beginning of this video thinking this is how a narcissistic person or borderline person snags a victim in. Then I wondered if this guy was married to a one 😂

From what u shared i now knew that he wants me to share memories with him.his not saying what he felt towards me but when he is here he always say that he wants to do lots of stuff with me.his not so vocal of what he is feeling but we do a lot of stuff together.thanks for sharing this.

Love it! I met an amazing guy last year and we are now together. The fact that I tried to end things twice (yeah, i was slow to warm up, a bit ashamed of that now almost, but it got us to today) with this guy last year when i was unsure and that he didnt let me (unless he was sure I really meant it) meant the world to me. It made me realise that he wasnt wasting my time and that he really cared.
