5 Roles of Biblical Husband

5 Roles of Biblical Husband @vladhungrygen
1. LEADER
“But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.” 1 Corinthians 11vs3
Proactive
Pursues God.
Pastors his home.
Protector.
2. LABORER
“Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.”Genesis 2vs15
“But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” 1 Timothy 5vs8
Boys are cared by their mothers. Men provide for themselves. Mature men provide for their family.
Dreams don’t pay bills, diligent work does.
3. LOYAL
“But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” Matthew 5vs28
Stop the flirting.
Remember the grass is not greener.
Don’t hang out with the opposite sex alone.
Avoid talking about your personal life with the opposite sex.
Bounce your eyes.
Keep a fire in your fireplace.
4. LEARNER
“Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.” 1 Peter 3vs7
“…The word there is weaker, has to do with the way you handle highly valued material…” Tony Evans
Dwell with understanding with your wife means two things:
If you know what bothers her, don’t do it.
If you know what she likes, do it.
Women love process (men love goals)
Women love romance (men love sex)
Women need sensitivity (men love space)
Women when stressed become overwhelmed and emotionally involved (men become focused and withdrawn)
Women feel better by talking about the problem (men prefer solving it)
5. LOVER
“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her.” Ephesians 5vs25
“That He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word.” Ephesians 5vs26
“For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.” Ephesians 5vs28
“Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.” Colossians 3vs 19
Show your wife love in five ways:
1. Buy her flowers and gifts (or let her buy gifts herself)
2. Spend time with her.
3. Do house chores.
4. Physically touch her without initiating sex.
5. Compliment her.

@@mannyalicea8079 SUBMISSION of the wife is crucial. But it's not taught anymore. You are nothing but another manipulated man , subject to your wife's whims and changing emotions. You are not the ruler. She is. Too blind to see how you are being manipulated like Samson with Delilah ? The fact that she wanted to separate just shows how ungodly her moves are. Anyway marriage in the West today is a sad joke. No sin fix anymore. Not about sex and keeping away from sexual immorality , not about growing and multiplying , about MEN having their quivers full as the BIBLE says . It is about godess woman and her changing whims and feelings. It's not about her DUTIES anymore. Women in our brave feminist new world now just have duties in the workplace and submit to strangers. They have no duties anymore towards their husbands . It is PURE EVIL and God is not fooled believe me.

Keep your standards extremely high. Make them well known from the very beginning. Don't fall into the trap of getting emotionally involved with a woman, that is their domain and it's more susceptible to deception. And you would be surprised how easy it is to make terrible decisions because of a woman. You will know in your heart the choice is wrong, but you'll do it anyway because of a woman. It's Adam and Eve all over again, it happens all the time. So I would suggest that you stay strong, stay close to God, keep your standards extremely high, and make those standards known from the very beginning. Most men fall into bad relationships and marriages because they get emotionally involved early and start lusting, wanting sex... then you're trapped with her after that happens. But trust me, after you've had sex 1000 times it just gets old. You will wonder how you ever fell for it. But what never gets old is the peace you have in Jesus. If you stay close to God, she will stay close to you. Everything will be better.

@mosesjack4721 Can a man who respects a woman too much still perform sex to her ? Isn't there a huge part of the masculine psyche that is totally overlooked here ? Where does the Bible tell men to respect their wives at all ? provide the chapter please. Isn't respect linked to power and authority ? Isn't it the woman who is called to respect , and even fear her husband Ephesians 5:25 ? The Greek word translated by "respect" is phobos . Phobos = fear. Do naive modern men realise that the more they respect a woman , the less she will respect them ? How can men be so "blue pill" , so naive , thinking that man/women relationships are all about "love and respect" ? There is nothing further from the truth. The problem is , modern churchianity teaches all it takes to wreck marriages. It does not teach what the Bible teaches at all , even though it all look godly on the surface.

So , what's the point of marriage if sex is impeded ???????? Who ever impedes sex in marriage ? No one but Satan -and the rebellious wives who serve him. I know this bc i prayed harder than ever one night after a bad date and the next day i woke up to a message from my wife on Facebook. We where not friends on Facebook and she lived in the Philippines. We talked for 3 years i stayed faithful to her and she did as well as far as i know but i 100% believe her. I want my marriage to last forever so i need to learn how God want my marriage to be bc when we got married i truly believe that its a promise we made to each other and God and i dont want to break my promise to God. She has turned my life around so much she has helped me become more loving and and calmer. I love who i am now more than ever i find working is easier bc i am doing it for her to give her a better life its not pointless anymore i have a purpose and its her and God.

@@Romo69 Do you realise how devilish this teaching can be ? Making it all about the woman as if the man had been made for the woman !! The Bible says the absolute opposite and commands women/wives to SUBMIT and ADAPT to their husband's wil and desires. Never the other way round. You realise he's teaching the Luciferian lie of "sexual consent" in marriage that allows rebellious wives (never ever called out , never rebuked , never disciplined ) to call the shots in the marriage bed when THE BIBLE teaches that wives are the husband's property and when there is property , there is no sexual sin at all ? I can't believe I as a woman can discern the evil in those teachings and men cannot. Where are you men ? Where have your authority and rights (property rights) gone ?

Enjoyed message so much. Left my husband after 37yrs recently. He is a narcissist and has verbally and mentally abused me. I always supported us and at times worked 2 jobs while he ran his own small engine repair shop. I went to church and took our 2 boys by myself. I can see clearly now I should have left sooner. I did everything for from cutting his toenails, setting up his meds scratching his back for hours every night etc just to have him call me fat and lazy and a wasted piece of skin. I feel so free now and such peace thanks to my boys for getting me out. Would love to have a husband like you described one day when I am healthier.

I’m not saying god doesn’t love everyone and I’m not trying to troll, what does that apply to people like Hitler. Not asking if God loves him. On his mission as he is exterminating Jewish people. Does it really apply in both marriages that God is with both people going through it with them when one person is objectively and substantially abusing the other person. Because I think we all agree, it wouldn’t apply to Hitler. Or are we supposed to pretend like it’s both people in the situation or bad equally at fault I should say? Does this verse apply to the husband is literally beating his wife every day and she’s too afraid to leave because she may be murdered?

The fact that you put your "husband" in quotes tells me that there is some subtext there that you might need to work on as well. Not saying he's perfect, but my mother used to do the same type of thing to my dad (intentionally read certain scriptures to him, or listen to sermons in front of him that she would claim was "the spirit" talking to him), and everybody knew she was using things as manipulation tools toward him, and playing mind games. Not accusing you of anything, I'm just wondering out loud if that's what you may be doing. He's either your husband, or he's not, he can't be your "husband".

Thabk you so much. This message was something i needed to hear. For years in high school I had a girlfriend who cheated on me multiple times and it broke me. Then a month before graduation, a beautiful woman walked into the class i was in and then we ended up going to prom together. I felt something so strong with her and we loved one another. After five years being together we got married and that was the best thing because i got to marry the love of my life. Being with someone was scary because of the way I was hurt before. Throughout my life I had many family members who got divorces and that really affected me. One thing that I had to learn was that although those things happened it wasn't going to happen to me. I've been praying and rebuking everything that any of my family members had issues with I've been praying against that in my life and in my marriage. Everyday I compliment my wife on how amazing she does. She does so much for our daughter and I and I am so thankful that God brought her into my life. As her husband I always tell her how thankful I am and how beautiful she is. Being married to your best friend is the best.

Praying for you and your new bride. I wish someone had told me this when I married so please allow me to offer you this advice. Communicate well and with grace and love. If she says to her friends, "we never fight" and you are only keeping your mouth shut so as to not rock the boat... you are instead building resentments that will implode your marriage later. And if you are building resentments and she feels that because you are non- confrontational that means she can't speak up... she'll be building resentments as well purely out of misunderstanding. So don't hold it in... by all means, calm down and think of how best to communicate your disappointments that are creating resentment- or rather WILL if they fester- rather than blowing up and watching her close off (as soon as she feels attacked, she's not hearing you... and vice-versa). Loving communications. Last piece of advice is more of a life lesson: feelings aren't reality. If you FEEL she doesn't respect you because she never keeps house or maybe she spends too much and it is a slap in the face of your expectations... feelings aren't reality. Reality is ONLY that she's not cleaning and she's spending more money. How she feels and how you feel aren't reality, and if you could read her mind you might even find that your feelings are contradictory. It's always better to communicate well rather than make assumptions that threaten your heart and peace. I will continue to pray for you and your bride.

What have we done to deserve such wimps ? Biblical men would not wonder how they can "love" their wives . They had sex with them ! Like real men. They were not afraid of their own male desires ! They had plenty of children (Psalms 127/128) , their marriages were blessed unlike modern marriages. Why on earth would a man want to protect a woman who is unsubmissive and resists him in the marriage bed ?? Men always protect what is theirs , what belongs to them . Just as God . @@electric5hadowWhy do women file so frivolously? Because men dont initate it while they cheat and abuse, so the wives are fed up and leave. Women dont want to but what drives them to leave, especially Christian women, is due to narcissistic abuse from the husband who rather than acting as a Biblical leader, his demons take advantage of the household authority role and suppress his family. Because men stand in the way between diabolic and his family, they are more likely to be tempted by the Devil and the fact that many men don't fully commit to Christ, they fall under the Devils dominance and attack their families. Generations of husbands and fathers abusing wives and children, leads to children who have a distorted view of fathers and men in general, they become atheist and feminist. It isnt the fault of media and society that created atheism and feminism, it is the fault of failed male biblical leadership that set the fire on societys downfall, the media uses that to their advantage by adding fuel to sinister male roles. Fathers are supposed to be the pathway to God, Men are the closest in Gods image and if women and children dont have a Godly man as an example, their view of God will be distorted.

@jesusteevino6936 Nothing could be further from the truth. You Western men are such naive blue pill guys , lied to by the post modern FEMINIST church that has nothing godly and good to say to men , husbands and fathers anymore. You have no idea that a woman never reciprocates love and respect as men do. The more you trat a woman like a queen , the more she will despise you because you won't be a man in her eyes. That is why it is always women in every biblical instruction on marriage that are told to submit FIRST. Check your Bible instead of swallowing such non inspired sermons . It is the wife who has to be submissive to win her man to salvation 1 Peter 3 . NOT the opposite. Because the woman was made for the man. Not the man for the woman. That is also why the Bible never focuses as they do (this video is dreadful) on a husband's conduct towards his wife but always does the opposite. You have a Proverbs 31 woman but no Proverbs 32 man. Who can find a VIRTUOUS WIFE the Bible asks. Never who can find a virtuous husband . So , all that has been added to butter up females and go with the flow of their wicked rebellion is unscriptural , carnal , devilish. Just as this video when he blames a man for forcing himself on his wife when the treal culprit is the WIFE who resists her husband in the marriage bed that should be undefiled. But women today defile and spill everythign they touch because they don't keep their place anymore. Those so called pastors always put the emphasis on "love" and emotions , which allows females to take over so malicioulsy , so subtly but never a word about SEX anymore !! Sex , biblically , is the reason why God allows his sons to get married (1 Co 7:4) but it is completely silenced. Work of darkness. Devilish. Marriage is now a place open to all kinds of temptations (1 Co 7:5) . Cuckoldry is on parade . If MARRIED men cannot "force themselves on their wives" , sex is free and opened up for their lover's wives. Where on earth has male honour gone ? Where on earth has male sex drive gone ? Approved and blessed by the Lord . Psalm 127/128 Proverbs 5:18 . You are bashed over and over by all that wicked churchianity but you ask for more. Sounds that men today are so mentally feminised that they have taken on the masochistic part of the female psyche. He shall rule over you . I will greatly increase the pains of your childbearing Genesis 3:16 And the man in the vid says that a man who forces himself on his wife causes her pain ? !! lol Those men have no idea what delivery looks like !!!! A female body wets constantly so that the woman does not experiment too much pain in case of rape. Recent surveys have revealed that mystery. That's how God made up female biology. But men are totally clueless. They treat their women with kids gloves instead of taking them vigorously like real men. No wonder why marriages don't last anymore.

@jesustrevino6936 Sorry but you have it all backwards. Take a look at proverbs 31 and see how this wife behaves and why she is praised by the Lord. She's not a "queen "if she does not treat you as she should. She is to submit FIRST. Every marital instruction starts with "wives , submit" . ALWAYS. You'd know it if you read what is written instead of listening to those fallacious teachings who put women first and men second , giving men a fake status of leader , a mere figure head at the mercy of his wife's whims.

@@stevenrogersfineart4224 How about telling her about her DUTIES for a change ? How come the BIBLE -that is not preached anymore always starts off with "wives submit "and in anyway with what they dare to teach , which is highly unscriptural and emasculating ? Because the submission of wives is key to a blessed marriage. According to the BIBLE -once again not preached anymore in our brave feminist new world , any submissive wife can win over a man with harden heart 1 Peter 3. The contrary ( ie what they preach all the time !!!) is never ever to be found in the Bible . No where does the Bible tell men if they act that way they will win over their wives. Never. So , all those charlatans can preach what they want and like since no one checks in the Bible to see if it's accurate. We have become modern illiterate fools hypnotised by pulpits and videos but not people of the Word anymore. It is so SERIOUS that any shyster can show up in a pulpit and start to spew the feminist lie of "sexual abuse" in MARRIAGE , no one reacts vigourously . No MAN takes back his legitimate right and tell those shysters to mind their own business because what happens between a husband and his wife is private and only the Lord witnesses it and blesses it. No husband to stand up for their GOD GIVEN right to sex (1 Co 7:4/5) , no one who says as written that marriage guarantees free access to sex and is a sin fix , a shield against carnal temptations. I am appalled as a woman.
