I left the country last year for the first time in my life. I had traveled all around America but never had the opportunity to leave. My soul just wants more now. I felt more at home in Honduras than I ever have here. It's hard to explain but i just loved being there. I have 2 senior dogs and once they cross the bridge I think my husband and I are going to go travel the world for a while.

Home is where the heart is, words of wisdom.

This video resonated with me. I always knew I wanted to move abroad and did just that in 2021. We moved to Amsterdam in 2021, and I have been happy and so much at peace. While I've always traveled and even had my wedding abroad, living here is just different. I plan on getting citizenship here as well. I am encouraging my family members to try it for at least one year. If you can or have the desire to move outside of the US, do it!

For people of African descent, keep Kenya, South Africa and Ghana on your radar. There is no better feeling than walking amongst your own and being just another human minding their own business. It's both a beautiful and joyful experience.

I went to Morocco first and it felt like Miami to me. I went to South Africa and traveled from Johannesburg to Cape Town and I enjoyed my time there but nothing spoke to me like Colombia.

Vegas is great. I moved here from LA because the cost wasn't worth it. Now we own a home in Vegas and travel the world as digital nomads. Mexico is great but now it's not a cheap option by any means in the safe cities. I loved living there but I wouldn't do it in 2024.

I left US for UK for an employment opportunity. I'm praying to return to US everyday. I hate driving on the left side of the road while seated on the right side of the car. I hate driving on roads not built for cars to park and drive on simultaneously. I hate the food, no flavor. I hate this cold, cold weather. I'm from the South. I hate the health care system; they believe in wait and see. I hate the 3 story townhome lifestyle with all this carpet. The dating scene is nonexistent. I'm so ready to go home. Somebody find me a job‼️

Yes, to be a global citizen . We are moving to Portugal this year and it's bittersweet, I don't feel I fit here( USA) anymore, my son is stationed here, my sister and best friend and extended family are here and my parents' final resting place is here. Portugal has been a place that makes my heart full and I am so happy we found a place that feels right for us. 🕊❤🙏🏾

The impact of environment is so spot on. Everytime I go overseas, my hair grows, I lose weight and I am overall generally happier and more social. As soon as I come back home, I am right back at square one. And I have lived in this cycle since 2014 when I first began traveling. I love my family and want to be surrounded by them, but I am better abroad. What do I do?

Hi Antoinett, how do you feel about starting a black expat community in Thailand where you put together a team that will be supportive to those who want to make a move there? I have many, if not all, of your videos starting with your van life journey. I would find that very helpful for myself and maybe others that are contemplating such a move in the future.

I agree with you about the political tug-a-war that has crippled the US. If l had the opportunity and youth l would be a Canadian citizen now. You live your life on your own terms and l admire that. I have a neice who’s been living abroad for years, who has traveled the world. I don’t think that she will ever come back here to live, and l don’t blame her.
