5 Pork Chops, Sweet potatoes in the RoadPro Portable Stove

These stoves plug into the lighter power outlet in your car or truck.
5 assorted pork chops and some sweet potatoes cooked in the RoadPro 12 volt Portable Stove for 3 and a half hours. They did not need that much time! But tasted good.
You can buy these stoves at major truck stops or order from Amazon at..amzn.to/1O0gNxi

I’m a OTR trucker and bought this road pro about a month ago. The best thing since sliced bread!!! Fresh cooked food while out over the road!

That's pretty cool. Just use it like a slow cooker instead of just heating food up or keeping warm. Thanks for the tip. Safe travels

Thanks for the presentation. I need to get this for my sister and my Brother-in-law. Theyre truckers who spend way too much money on Diners and Truck Stop food on the road!

Oven bags are amazing to cook with. They keep the heat from escaping and hold in the flavors.

I also use the oven bags. I think the oven bags are rated at higher temperature.

Canning lids or balled up pieces of foil on the bottom will prevent that burn/dark toasting.

I use my roadpro for food that takes 1-2 hours max, When it exceeds 2 hours try using the hot logic mini which is more of a slow cooker.

I have had them for a couple years and no troubles. Never had one quit yet but sometimes i break the latches if i cook with oven bag and leave too much air in bag, it will swell up and bust the latch or hinges. Sometimes i throw them out just because bags leak, foil leaks, and inside gets alll stained up. But these ovens last if you don't bust the latch. I am using mine now with busted latch. I was steaming vwgetables in a bag. Bagged it in Salt Lake City, but when I got up higher altitude going to Wyoming, the bag swelled and broke the latch off. Happens to me a lot. I still use it, just that now when I open it, the latch comes off. I think these could last many years. Many years. But those 12 volt coffee heaters,,, i never can get thise to last more than a few times before they quit. So I was skeptical on these ovens. But no worries, they are great. Just squeeze the air out of bags, and I don't seal the bag anymore because i want air to escape.

The heating elements last long. But if you leave too much air in the bag, it might expand and bust the latch. The latch is the weak link.
