Quick question...I applied for a job and an assessment test was required and I submitted it and I did not hear from the company.

I'm going to have to get back to work after a 7 year absence! I've maintained my certification, but only had time to read AAPC's monthly magazine and review an occasional webinar when time allowed. My Mother passed in March 2023 and now I have to return to work. I've read the ICD-10 guidelines, watch webinars, am studying by topic (Peds vaccines, OB/GYN, etc). Any more suggestions?

Hi! can your demonstrate and comment a correct and full room scan for online exams? Did they really check your ears for devices plugged in? Is it neccesary to cover your whole bookcase? Do you need a second camera? Many thanks!

Hi Victoria, I am a medical coder from past 3 yrs. I am moving to UK soon but i want to continue my career as a medical coder there, can you tell me is there medical coding in UK too? I mean most countries do follow USA coding guidelines but is there any relevance/career in UK as a CPC coder too? I couldn’t find any detail over this. I’ll be glad to know that from you. Thanks

The CPC is not valid in the UK. Other than that, I'm not familiar with their coding systems or job requirements.

I am currently not aware of any ongoing medical coding hiring events or job opportunities. However, I recommend keeping an eye on relevant job portals, professional networking platforms, and the websites of healthcare organizations or coding associations, as they often announce such events or job openings.

I applied there also this month I am a CPC, I had to take an assessment. Unfortunately I didn’t get the position I applied for

I did the AAPC CPC course, finished it, but I can’t work remotely from Portugal. 😢 That definitely put a stop to my career… I already sent loads of CVs and the response is always the same… 😔
