Leonard’s seems like staple. The buyer garlic shrimp looks so good. I’m am usually just ok with shaved ice, but that shaved nice you show them making looked so refreshing. I’ve never seen a line that long just for shaved ice. i’ve always wanted to try dole whip, but these look next level. Amazing video As always

FYI....Hawaii's shave ice is different from snow cones served in mainland U.S. In short, the texture of the ice is finer & the toppings/fillings & syrup flavors are Uniquely Hawaii. Personally...IMHO...See no attraction/lure/appeal to Dole Whip ice cream, so can offer no unbiased opinion!-lol

Recommend searching out Leonard's food trucks, located at several Oahu shopping centers. Also suggest visiting Kamehameha Bakery, Liliha Bakery & Pa'ala'a Kai Bakery for iconically different pastry offerings.

You really found the most iconic spots for malasadas, shave ice, Dole whip, plate lunch, and Jenny's sounds pretty good ( I can't comment on that place since I've never been). FYI: I know some people pronounce the Chinese fruit, lychee as lee-chee, but people in Hawaii usually pronounced it as lie(lai)-chee. Next trip, you can check out other shave ice, malasada, plate lunch places, and other shrimp trucks. Hope the two of you really enjoyed your trip!

Watch out for that Turo cleaning fee.🤣 Guava is a tropical fruit and grows all over Hawaii. They raise shrimp too. Waiola shave ice is the best! 10/10. You have to go. Dole whip then gym! Rainbow, you guys went all over the island.

It was mad expensive not gonna lie haha but it was cheaper than going through enterprise or the bigger brands . We didn’t want to just stay in Waikiki so we had to rent a car to drive around and do these activities

Brother luv y’all’s coverage of Hawaii eats. Small suggestion - avoid using the word “apparently” because it denotes that you are skeptical of what the locals are saying. For example, you may say apparently, their food is good. Let me see what’s the hype. And the other word you may want to avoid is the word “hype” because the locals are proud of the food and it’s not reduced to just being a hype. Hope you don’t take me wrong brother. Just some constructive observations. 🤙🏼
