The Ho’omaluhia Botanical Gardens and the Byodo-In Temple is already on my list of places to visit, but I will be adding Waimea Falls to my list because you get to swim there.

I loved the Manoa falls. Was disappointed with Waimea Falls. I thought it was as tall as Manoa falls…..but no. I live on the Windward side and am always mesmerized by the waterfalls cascading down the Ko’olaus on rainy days. So when I hear “Falls”…..I think BIG. LOL. I just had to get over paying the $17 Kama’aina rate (several years ago) at Waimea. 😂😂 Another great video! Nice to see you guys enjoying places I like going to 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Thanks for the more detailed explanation of the Valley of the Temples. I was familiar with the Byodo-In Temple, but I didn’t know about the other religions being represented nor that it was a cemetery there. Did you all have a chance to visit Kualoa Ranch, where Jurassic Park was filmed?

Yep when you do drive up to byodo you can’t miss it, there’s a lot of other temples / religious centers, we wanted to visit but the tickets were sold out when we went lol should have booked in advance

A good rule to follow on your next visit is to pronounce all the vowels on Hawaiian words....it usually is how it works, but not always...just gotta learn them...👍🏻 Ken A got it down on how it's pronounced

I answer all that in The previous vlogs if you want more in-depth . Stayed at a hotel/Airbnb Waikiki , rented car about 90 a day off turo , each spot was about 30 min atleast from Waikiki driving
