Regarding everything I'm mentioning about my experience in Mentawai: This is just my personal experience, it doesn't mean all the people and guides there are the same - on the contrary. I don't think a single person is representing the whole community or that people shouldn't travel there. As you're gonna see in the documentary, despite the difficulties I had behind the scenes, the experience was overall EPIC and I'm exited to share it with the rest of the world so more people visit this part of Sumatra and see what it's all about! Hi, have just found your platform and is really nice to witness that you, as a foreigner, are really enjoyed the hospitalities in Indonesia. I like to witness how you could integrate yourself with our society and culture. I also have some Greece friends here in the Netherlands and they are pretty friendly too. I would say Indonesian people are the most nicest and are the friendliest in the world. So many countries I have already visited yet Indonesians are the best one. Airport railink in Indonesia was firstly build for Medan - Kuala Namu International Airport (2006), then Binjai - Kuala Namu International Airport (2010), then Jakarta International Airport (2017), and Yogyakarta International Airport (2019).

KRL (the busy train at 26:40) is commuter train. the price is 2000-10,000 Rupiah depending on how far the distances. currently KRL only available in Greater Jakarta and Solo-Jogja (in solo-jogja the price is flat 8000 rupiah)

Tasos, Near Labuan Bajo, Flores Island, there is a remote village on a mountain called Wae Rebo. It's very underrated. You must visit there. You can also visit the Toraja Tribe on Sulawesi Island.

If i can suggest you, maybe you can add Toraja in your travel list for your next trip in Indonesia. But its better to visit in the middle of the year. Bcs around that period there will be many traditional funeral events which are very unique and known to many tourists

If you stay in Jakarta for a few days you can go check out Baduy Tribe. It’s near Jakarta. The tribe has two area, Baduy luar or the outer area of Baduy tribe and Baduy dalam the inner area of Baduy tribe. You can do documentaries on Baduy luar but I think electronics are still prohibited in Baduy dalam

33:43 that red light is for straight direction, if you turn left you can go ahead without stopping, most of Indonesian traffic light is like that.

Tasos you should do documentary in the most eastern part of Indonesia which is Papua . There are alot of native tribes there and some of them are headhunter😁 , they also racially different than the rest of Indonesians, cause they are black
