That Charvel is a model 5. I have a 1987 Model 6. The model 5 has a that elongated body cut and had the 5-way strat selector switch and the shark fin inlay.

Man..id love that charvel if it where smooth..i get the satin finish, but id still build it up to get it sanded smooth. then finish it out in the satin..

awesome video man! i always tell myself i should record when i work on and or mod my guitars cus i do it alot but im too lazy to get the camera set up and try to get good shots while i do what i do. then i gotta edit it lol. i can do all that but im just to lazy lol. you do a great job an i enjoy your shows alot. even if i did all that i just dont have the creativity when editing or coming up with cool ways to present things. i also don have the right personality lol. im quiet and shy kinda. you have a great personality for this type of show and the geeky parts are the best parts.

as for the ranking of the guitars numbered left to right, 1,2,3,4. from best to worse and why..., 3.. red/black king v why cus reds my favorite and the crackle looks good. also i like the single hum Vs. 1.. lighter blue crackle, this was a close tie cus i like the color choices 2.. dark blue. perfect example of a good crackle pattern 4.. white v. i love Vs and white guitars and the color red but i dont like splatter that much or at least as much as i like crackle. i would love to see a reverse crackle. black guitar with a red crackle paint. like Ferrari red or something like that. i know they sell white and a couple others but i dont think ive ever seen red.

Nobody does crackle and splatter like you guys. ESP might come close, but not many people can afford $5k guitars to look at crackle. Serious question here: does purple paint cost more or isn't as widely available as the other colors? Purple is so popular that the guitars fly off the shelves before they even put the strings on, but I rarely see anyone doing purple/black custom jobs. Retail manufacturers can't keep purple guitars in stock, and they always seem to cost more when they are. Anyway, keep up the great work, lookin' good! 🎸🔥

i just bought a new hard case from guitar center. it was like 100 bucks. it has a lightly textured plastic shell. can i tape it off and spray paint something on it without scuffing it up? like a logo or name or something. would the paint stick good enough and would i want to clear coat the etire thing after? i want to customize the inside with new foam and maybe red fur or something like that. the case was bought for the mick thompson soloist i have. i would like to make the case a specific fit for the jacksons but have it so you can use whatever headstock, flipped or normal. incase i want to use it for one of my dinkys.

more 7 string guitars would be nice
