Haha yeah definitely 2006 vibes.
Love how Lee chooses to make it more difficult for himself instead of dialing it in. Does make it funnier. If you do the “love video” a good twist would be “that they wouldn’t pick for themselves”
Lee chugging in the power stance is the guitar content I needed today.
Lee just smashes it. For never playing that music. He wings it very very well.

Not so difficult. No dynamic range. Tone being a result of total distortion alone. Not much rythmic complexity. Piss in a bucket.

So glad you are doing this actually in the store this time! Anderton's USP is that they are basically an online retailer who makes you feel like you are buying things in a shop from a team you know and trust. More in the shop and less scrolling through the site or gear just magically appearing at the start of the vid is the way to do this. More please!
Dude Lee look straight metal AF in this video with the strap all low his stance all big Lee you need to switch to metal bro!!! 🤘
2:37 "The only option is the Chapman" Ibanez 7 string literally right behind Rob.
Rob choosing a Chapman and a Victory...colour me shocked...
Watching Lee stand up and play heavy riffs is amazing 😂
An idea for another video would be "a rig I think my mate will love but they would never pick for themselves" and try out different obscure things that fit your styles
"Choosing a mate that you'll hate; that's a different video..." Ha! A lot of fun.
Its wild to me how long not only this channel has been around but also how long both rob and lee have been playing, for them to have zero experience with a jazz chorus considering how iconic of an amplifier it is.
Lee out of his comfort zone but looking cool is amazing 😂
Lee you are sooo missing a trick in this challenge. Given Mr. Chappers proficiency and hence the difficulty in choosing something. two options: 1. a left handed guitar 2. a pedal steel hilarity prevails!! 😁
Come on, Lee looks super authentic with that 7 string, standing up! ;D Totally missed seeing you two having fun! PLEEEEASE, more of that! :)

Thank you for filming the quest through the store. I've really been missing that for quite some time.
And on that day, Lee went djent🤣 He even scooped the mids!🤘
I missed the shopping in the actual store :)

You two together just make beautiful content. Way to go Pete adding that unique pedal at the end. Well done Gents.
As SOON as Every Breath started I knew what was coming. and it was glorious.
That was friggin awesome, Lee! Hat's off!!
Love seeing you guys back together again. Really enjoy your chemistry. Looking forward to the next ones :)
See, the banter between the Captain and Chappers just works!
“Im jealous you have a guitar company” give that man a raise! Quick thinking.
Lee chugging standing up is definitely profile picture material 😂
the Yamaha Spliffmaster and JC-40 combo sounded quite nice. and excellent choice by Pete to bring in the Korg Miku pedal to seal the deal on this video.
Have to say Lee did surprisingly well with his rig, given that it was...a bit out of his comfort zone. Not at all surprised that Rob got a great tone from his rig, I play Garage Rock/Rock N' Roll with a hollowbody and a JC-40 and that amp should not be underestimated for that kind of style
Great to see Rob back in videos like the old days
I love how relaxed Lee looked when standing up. 🤣🤣
The Jazz Chorus is my dream amp... and it's so underestimated.
This is the most metal I’ve ever heard Lee sound and I Love it!!!!
"Jazz chorus 40" ... *Me Grinch smiling.
I’ve been a fan of this channel for years and only just watched that old video. Yall must have read my mind cause I was thinking how fun an updated version of this would be lol
I just watched part 1 the other day, great timing
This is such a great series/channel. So much fun.
Love it! Great idea! I wish you all continued success and good health! ❤
Loved the original video of this. Great to see it done again.
Love it! Gaining my love of Guitars seeing these two again
Well done chaps - that was a lot of fun to watch. Cheers.
Loved the original video. So I am so glad they did it again
The captain Lee power stance killed me😂
Fun video- Chappers face when lee is standing up - Priceless
I absolutely love how Rob sneaks through the halls with such mischievous delight, enjoying the potential irritation his choices will cause Lee. That made my day - thanks to everyone!
Lee standing and chugging away is Gold!!!! More metaLEEca please
YES! I've been wanting another of these since the last one!
The cheeky quips about Victory and "owning" Horizon Devices made me laugh lmao great video, just like old times :)
This was awesome! I really miss these Lee & Chappers videos
This video is awesome! The idea of finding a finding a rig for your friend that they’ll hate is hilarious! 😜😂
For once the od on the jc40 gets some recognition It’s not metal distortion by any means but it’s cool imo
You've got to keep playing that thing because you have no idea how much of a badass you made yourself look compared to always playing those blue riffs man you look like a rockstar
Anytime I need to laugh until I pass out, I put on the original Meko video. 😂😂😂😂. Honestly, I think that was the first video I saw of you guys. That damn pedal was the cause of me eventually flying to the London and visiting the store. 😅. All three of you were around.
That was AWESOME!!! The most hilariously good time I've seen in a guitar video of late... Now this, my friends, is what the world needs more of at the moment... just let your hair down, forget about the days' problems, good clean fun, messing around with friends... Bravo!!!
It's crazy. As soon as he gets out of his comfort zone, Lee sounds like he just started learning to play the guitar a few months ago 😆

This video was worth it just to see the walk around shots of the shop. I need to plan a UK trip ASAP.
Lee don’t forget to breathe when you’re playing standing up 😂😂😂
As soon as I saw an in-store video, I knew it would be a great one.
Yea boys we back! Stayed subbed just waiting for this day
Acoustasonic with a high gain amp (Engl Powerball maybe) and a Digitech Drop would be a great pick 😂
My buddy was a local club musician. He had a Jazz Chorus with a few pedals and never looked back. Solid rig that never failed
This is the video I've been waiting for!!!
Honestly, I really enjoyed watching you two mastering -- not merely struggling to master, but MASTERING -- those unfamiliar and intentionally (comically) hostile rigs. Both of you managed to generate good sounds, regardless of the setups and their seeming animosity towards you. As before, this had made for a very entertaining video. I find it elucidating as well. Thanks, everyone!
I was SCREAMING for the Miku to go in Lee’s rig, and y’all added it at the end. Well done, chaps!
I'm so happy Lee picked the Somersault. It's such a wonderful pedal.
Lee!!! That stance gets the vote on it's own!!!!
Lee’s power stance got me 😂 great video guys 👍🏼
I literally just watches the original video an hour ago. What the actual f'ck is this wizardry
That hollow body with a Jazz Chorus would be a nearly ideal rig for me.
Y'all gotta keep doing these every year. I also wish there were a way we could get an annual Rob Chapman / Andertons Orange Micro Terror & Micro Dark review haha. Those old cheap Orange hybrid head reviews are some of my favorite.
Very entertaining. Quite fun! I would hate, re dislike, both rigs. Good to have jobs you enjoy and friends with similar interests to be around.
yous guys are nutz!!! very entertaining nutz i might add! never cease to amaze hahaha!!
There at the end when Rob was strangling the cat... coffee out the nose!
Foolishness aside, thise were both workable. Love you guys! Thank you.
Easy. Lee gets a quad cortex and a Jackson with EMG’s. Rob a Fender Twin with a big ole Gretsch.
@tarkett8529
6 күн бұрын
Turn up the twin to ear piercing levels and you’ve got a great punk or grunge rig.
No idea how I stumbled upon this channel out of the States but this was really funny.
Best sounds I've ever heard. Also now I've got coffee in my nose. But that ok, I heard caffein absorption is pretty quick that way. 😂
Big oldschool Andertons vibes - Love it
YES THANK YOU CAPTAIN LEE AND CHAPPERS!!! Hope you’re doing well 🤟😎🍻💯🔥
It was the pickslide and power chord at the end that really got me! Ive not laughed that hard in a long time
Jazz Choruses definitely have good gain, my old guitarist played an Epiphone Dot through one and it sounded massive
Great call back to the miku pedal, hilarious🤣
YES! I was already smiling but it somehow got even wider when you pulled out the Miku. That review is the most I've ever laughed watching a KZread video & made me track one down and by it even after most places had sold out. That pedal is so much fun.
That 7 string + victory amp sound GOOOOOOOOOOOOD!
good vid guys, more.
Lee shredding that axe made my month.
Yay! I love the original.. Although I’d be pretty happy with either rig 😂
