That's true, I was traveling to a nearby city the other day, when I came into my city I felt like stopping at a mall just to get a sandwich, which I could just made home, but I wanted the experience to sit in Subway so I bought it with a drink.

Always informative! We've saved a lot of your past videos to help us with our move this year (car matriculation, utilities etc.). Can you put the location where you filmed this please? Beautiful! Just a suggestion - please add more of the surroundings with your talking, just to add variety (hubby gets a bit bored 😂, sorry!).

That format of video takes a lot of time to produce. Unfortunately I can’t do that every time. So hubby will have to be bored, unless he wants to commission a video, then I can take time away from paid work!!

Hello there, Love this video, thank you! I moved here by myself for retirement but I did sign a lease before I got here! I love it here but the little town is only or mostly vacationers! So find it difficult to make friends maybe we could meet up sometime.

I think a PDF would be terrific Luise! I think you are right... all great resources, but when you are just starting out... KZread is the best place to start. Carl and his wife Louisa are really lovely people!

I've seen several of your video's, sporadically! I watch to much KZread! 😂 I thoroughly enjoyed this video! It was better than any expat (I don't like that word, I love my Country, but I lived in the Azores many many years ago and fell in love with the people, culture, food, (SUPER BOCK is my favorite beer of all time, ask Ken-OK Portugal), and the way your treated! Like when I was a kid in the 60s and 70s for the most part. But still different. I almost fell of my bed when you said, WAR AND PEACE, BC I'm a talker like you are! I was actually LMAO!!! IT'S GONE! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I agree, KZread is invaluable! I've made so many friends(they feel like friends and family and I've met 3 different channels from my sailing days! I still watch, getting off track. I'll have to send an email, ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 My Dad bought the complete set when I was in Elementary school, then the yearly Editions. That was our GOOGLE/INTERNET, ❤! Anyway, just wanted you to know how much I appreciated this video! Oh I've been looking for mainland properties too! ✝️🙏❤🇺🇸🇬🇧🇵🇹⛵🍍☘🤗
