Helaas Pindakaas is so funny to me because in german we say “Schade Marmelade” which is basically the same thing :)

I love your pronunciation! It's so clear and easy to understand... I sometimes have trouble understanding Dutch even being somewhere between A2 to B1, because there's a ton of different pronunciations throughout the Netherlands and Belgium... and people speak so fast...:)

Thank you, great to see the Dutch expressions. My father use to say "niks on de hand" some expressions cannot be taken literally. 😊

Yes, you are right. Do you mean 'Niks aan de hand'? It is indeed a very common expression that Dutch people use a lot!
To be honest, instead of snars we tend to say something groin-related, such as zak, bal, or hol.

In Afrikaans.fiets is bicycle 😁 on the bicycle : totaal ander begrip 😂
