I have been coming back from lung cancer after chemo/radiation/immunotherapy. I have been with Dr. Berry way way back at the beginning. I have followed him on keto/ketovore/carnivore. I am so sure I would not be here if it wasn't for him. However I don't want to trigger him but I have been taking synthetic to get me over the hump of this past abuse I went through. But I was informed of the amounts found in each food in the fashion I have grown to love. Thanks Dr. B.😊❤
I started magnesium glycinate 2 months ago and started finally sleeping like a baby and was able to quit a years long addiction to melatonin. No more waking up in the middle of the night with racing thoughts and rapid heartbeat.

Until you get malabsorption..
@moiragoldsmith7052

@@cinystarr4657I am interested in your 'malabsorption' comments. Is this because of chron's and past surgery. Or because of Gluten/ Lectin sensitivities? Over decades I have had to cut out umpteen food groups because of autoimmune difficulties. I used to 'cheat' now and then on happy occasions, I realise now I have to tow the line and only eat what I know does not trigger me. I hope you find your unique answers. 🍀🙏💞
Thank you, Dr. Berry! Oh, how I wish there were more doctors like you. Such good, sound, wise suggestions you offer us.

Lol, I cracked the moment you ( No 1nd it ) 😂😊😅 There's been an improvement in my depression states as it no longer feels as frequent on a daily basis though sadly the ( UK ) Government and it's insane prime minister are out to attack people with Mental Ill Health. Still, I'm sticking with your guidance and elevating the Carnivore gradually, thank you Dr Berry, your an inspiration 😊
Another GREAT video; please consider doing a supplement vs natural source video weekly. Presently I spend a fortune on supplements which seem to go up every time I order them. I have been keto-vore and have lost 165 lbs over the last 5 years.

Some of us have malabsorption from gut problems. Not absorbing alot of what we eat - that's why I add supplements to my food a few hours later.. otherwise I'd probably have to eat small amounts of food at a time, every hour or 2 to get the most from what I ingest?

Here's a weird idea...how about we just eat foods high in glycine? Thanks for sharing Dr. Berry.
I think I get a serving size with every meal, at least one serving!!
Thank you so much!
Absolutely love the freedom of the Carnivore lifestyle..... and formaldehyde free too! Thanks Dr. Berry for once again demystifying the Proper Human Diet.
I completely agree. We should absolutely get our glycine from real food. However, glycine is sweet to the taste and if you would like a sweet treat on occasion it's not a bad way to sweeten a food. For example I make ice cream with only heavy cream and eggs, but I sweeten it with glycine and allulose. About three teaspoons of each for a whole batch. Just something to think about as an option.

I'd love to do this over the little bit of Stevia I use. I might go thru 1 packet every few wks, I don't think it's enough to harm me & compared to what I was eating before I dropped the plants a few months ago, it's healthy lol

I choose to eat (at a guess) a largely 95/98% animal based diet. I too make occasional ice cream - 1 cup unpasteurized pasture fed heavy cream, 1 cup pasture fed full fat thick greek style yoghurt, 6 egg yokes and 4 heaped teaspoons of glycine. Serves 4. I have also flavoured with vanilla extract. Coffee (2 expresso reduced to a syrup on the stove). Heaped tablespoon of raw unsweetened cacao.
I suspected what the end supplements were, nice :)
You're kinda a sneaky guy...and I appreciate it!
More truth from the Good Doctor...Thanks Dr. Berry for being so authentic. You've saved a lot of lives.
Immediately prior to watching this, I watched one of Dr.Berry's videos from 5 years ago. I have lost count of how many of his other videos in between this timespan I have watched but what strikes me is how consistent and unwavering he has been throughout in his advocation of following a 'proper human diet' in any of its subtle variations. This is in stark contrast, for example, to some You Tube channels 'advising' about the consumption of man-made food and 'longevity' supplements, who often seem to change their views completely about what is and what is not 'effective' in the space of 6 months! Dr.Berry has provided all the convincing I will ever need that food supplements are overwhelmingly a waste of time and money for anyone consuming a proper human diet. In my personal view, he is fast becoming - if indeed he is not already - a legend in his own lifetme.
Thank you Dr Berry, the powder glycine made my eyes go wonky, I don’t use it.

Synthetic Glycine causes kidney damage
Nice info there. Issues with the chicken leg and ground turkey but these are soo high in polyunsaturated fats from chickens and turkeys being fed corn and soy. It really does matter what your food eats. The grocery stores really do not give us shoppers a choice when choosing these meats. Any chance the bone broth powders and collagen supplement powder any good for us?
Love it Doc... no snark just facts... hahaha.
We need a Dr Ken Berry provider network.
Thanks!
Would you please do a video on lymphatic system. I’ve recently started having problems with my feet and legs swelling and retaining fluid. Thanks

Hi Dr Berry. Did carnivore 4 2 months in August of ladt year. Started having trouble. Wanting to start again, but having trouble with the fats( like coconut oil and butter. Liver and gall bladder trouble. Not sure if I need digestive enzymes. Having trouble drinking alot of water. Is it better to cook the beef in watet? Not sure how to start again.

You sir are a hoot!😂
Love some natural glycine sources. It's actually kinda sweet. The only time I use glycine powder is added to my "carnivore ice cream" I make once or twice a year (eggs, heavy cream, salt, glycine (optional)
OMG eat kielbasa all the time, today ground beef and eggs too
We should have known he’d prescribe food over pills 🤣 but amen to that!!!
I was so relieved to know I'm already getting enough glycine and can just continue NAC and be good (NAC+glycine=glutathione).
I'm still going to take my glycine supplement along with NAC. I want all the glutathione I can get.
