These all look so tasty! My favorite quick boxed cake dessert is adding a 20-ounce can of crushed pineapple (juice and all) to a box of yellow cake mix and baking it up in cupcake pans for about 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Delicious, super moist pineapple cupcakes with no oil or eggs needed!

My mother in law taught me to do this with angel food cake as well. One of my favorite desserts she would make. 🙂

Do you follow box directions or just add the pineapple?

You just add the crushed pineapple (don't drain it) to the cake mix and nothing else, then bake in cupcake tins for about 40 minutes at 350 degrees. I use cupcake papers, but you could grease the tins if you don't have cupcake liners.

Brinley is getting so big and such a good little helper! One idea for your bundt cake when using the yellow cake mix is to add orange zest to it. It will make it a whole different flavor! Perfect for summer! Then take a bit of juice in with the powder sugar for the drizzle. You have sooo many great menu ideas and was wondering too, if you ever thought about putting them in a book? Reminds me of my Cinnamon Swirl cake. Follow the directions on the yellow cake mix box (sub extra virgin olive oil for veggie oil). Pour about 2/3 cup (eyeball it) of batter in the Bundt pan then sprinkle cinnamon sugar (as much as you like) on the batter. Lightly stir with fork but don't stir in. Add the rest of the batter. Add more cinnamon sugar, if desired. Bake in Perfection Aire oven for 25 minutes on 325° F. It's always been a hit with my family and co-workers.
