The ideal line-up as I see it is Kemba on first leg, Shelly on the backstretch, Elaine running the bend, and Shericka hammers it home. Kemba is good at baton passing with all the Oregon relays, shelly has done lovely backstretches before, her pass with Elaine was a thing of beauty last year so no worries there. Just need Shericka to move off and get the running start before collecting the baton and bringing it home. If the change between Elaine and Shericka is flawless then WR

It's hard to match up with the Jamaicans in the 4 x 100 relay because, Jackson, Pryce and Thompson all have run the anchor leg. What does that tell you? It tells you that they're all not just fast, but they all have trust in one another. And what's sweet about it...The Jamaican women doesn't have one special woman to run the same leg all the time. I love the way they trust in one another because the 4x100 relay is no joke to them even though they got silver. 🥈 When the Olympics come around, they will straighten that up. Congratulations to the American women. 🥉 That was some good stick movement. That's a big Improvement.

3 Great races under pressure. Advice to young sprinters and relay runners: around 3:48 watch the US anchor leg take off and run in the middle of her lane. This is a big no-no. She needs to be in the outside half so that her incoming runner doesn't have to slow down. The 3rd leg is forced to slow down and thus the handoff is so delayed that the anchor has to turn and look back at the last moment, which slows her down. First and third leg runners need to stay in the inside half of their lane during exchanges. Second and anchor legs get the outside half of their lanes. Relays 101. Our team does a lot better in the 3rd-4th exchange in the last of these 3 races.
