I remember the days when USA use to dominate in both the male and female events and Jamaica had to fight hard to even medal but look at us now. Jamaica is now dominating in almost all the spirit events. Sweet to watch I tell you. This is our time. Them caaaaa hold wi again. Jamaica to the world.

@norman-m [KANDAGAIGO] Morrison ran a brilliant leg but “ate her for lunch” is a stretch. Veronica Campbell-Brown had the fastest opening leg and if you look carefully Allyson Felix gets the baton much farther back in the zone (per the us strategy to use a 200m runner on the second leg as Allyson would typically get the baton earlier and pass off later to stretch the leg). i would be interested to find the actual splits because they both were flying.

Elaine is the only one to outrun Prandini.
Some observations: - VCB ate up English Gardner on that opening leg. - Natasha Morrison may have ran the most impressive second leg and that's saying something considering Schippers, Felix, Dina A-S and M-L Ahye were all there! - Elaine Thompson has no equal on that third leg - SAFP wasn't going to be caught, especially with that much of a lead. The US anchor runner has terribly messy form, looks like she is flailing away.
The three greats of sprinting together....Price, Campbell n Thompson....
The American and Jamaican sprinters are currently the best in the world. Both men and women sprinters from these two countries are simply fantastic and delightful to watch.

Those were the days.
Been rewatching these moments and grinning like a fool =D I have a legit question though for those who come to hate/dislike the video. Why even click? Why is it such a big deal that Jamaica's been doing well in the sprint events? It's not like we have a ton of other athletes in other track and field events, let alone other sports overall. Does it really bother you that much that we have our turn in the spotlight; so much so you come to the videos to leave hate or point out when we aren't at our best? With all the things other bigger countries have achieved, with all their dominance over the decades, why is it that a small island nation having something they can take pride in such a big issue? I don't even think it's the showboating thing 'cause other athletes have done that before too. So what gives? I would honestly like to know.
