@@teddyhightower843 It's not a joke, but it's a real human language. Ever heard of Hiragana [Japanese], or even Kanji (Also Japanese, but looks more a bit like Chinese characters)⁉️... But it looks as if the guy could be using a mixture of those alphabets, as well as using a bit of Katakana. I studied some Japanese yrs ago, but I'll tell u,.. it's quite a difficult language to learn. But it's easier to speak than Mandarin (China's national language). It's just that the pronunciations and saying things in Mandarin are more difficult to grasp. Thankgod that my missus is of Spanish heritage, and also don't have the interest to go to a northern Asian nation. Only ever had the interest to go to Sth-East Asian ones, since my early 30s. But have been to China, Korea, and Japan years ago - a good 20 yrs ago, before I had met her and had to go to Beijing and Shanghai on a business trip (and did a tour then of some of the major sites), just before 2010 - while she and myself were first in our relationship. I did all that, and most of my overseas travelling by the time I was 35. I had only been to South America just before me and the missus got married.

I agree with you 100%, it's impossible to break the record [except of course possibly during the Lord Jesus' millenial rule]! It's for the same reason that I put Pele and Messi as the 2 GOAT based on Pele's impossible-to-break 3 World Cups [unless of course Arsene Wenger succeeds in his airheaded effort to water down the prestige of the World Cup by making it a biennial affair] and Messi's 7 Ballon d'Ors. In basketball there's Michael Jordan, for obvious reasons, and Tom Brady in American football. 'nuff said.

Usain Bolt isn't just an incomparable athlete. He is also a great human being. There was alot of buzz during either the Rio or Beijing games, can't remember which, where he was giving an interview when the Star Spangled Banner began playing for a medal ceremony. Bolt stopped the interview until the anthem was finished. Alot of comments were made about how he respected the US, and the US anthem so much. But there is another clip in which he was giving an interview, and another anthem began playing for a medal ceremony. Bolt paused that interview as well until the anthem was done. What it was really about is that he didn't want to steal the spotlight for the athlete who was being honored at that moment. He is a truly class act. I just love this man.

Carl Lewis won 1984 100m and was 2nd in 1988. Then they busted Ben Johnson on the very same drugs that Carl had been exposed for taking a few years earlier but had faced no consequences of taking, since American which at the time was a carte blanche for drugs, since it was important to show that the free world could compete against the drugged up athlete slaves of the USSR and Warsaw pact.

I'm pretty sure that he will be too, in our lifetime. But Americans will say that he's a drug cheat - and they have admitted such by their own USAOC (of him using steroids), behind a 'smoke screen'. They tried to look into it by trying to blame him on such. If I were him, I'd try to get them up for 'defamation'. But I suppose that he knows that he can't win with that. It's just obvious that athletes are going to improve over a period of time. Even Carl Lewis couldn't win a Three-peat in any event of continuous Olympics, without any suspicions.

Bolt is not the fastest running in history though, it an Aboriginal called T8. Fossilised footprints were found in Australia and from measuring the stride of the prints they calculate that the runner was doing 37KPH however they can not be sure he was even the fastest of his species. I remember watching the 1996 final. It was crazy exciting with all of the false starts, then the bizarre Linford Christie protest (refusing to leave the track after being disqualified). When the race finally did begin, Bailey had a terrible start. If you pause midway through the race, at 5 seconds in, he's in third last (5th out of 7 runners). Over the final 50 metres, he surged ahead of everyone else. I still think to this day that his career development from above 10s times to a world record time of below 9.85s happened too quickly to be believed. But since he never popped, we'll never know. Watching as a young Canadian kid, Bailey was a star, and that tongue wag after the win was iconic.

Most iconic moment was Bolt’ first gold where he was literally celebrating in last 10 seconds. To win like that in the biggest of all stages and run over all competition like that. Just 😮 Forever the best

Soul 88 Olympic 100 metres gold was won by Ben Johnson. It was later given to Lewis when Johnson was stripped of the gold and given to Lewis. However, I believe that most of them were doping at that period including Lewis and it was unfair to have made Johnson scapegoat. Others who were given the medals most likely may have been on various performance enhancing substances too.

@@SHANKS0412 Others were not their target. Ben Johnson was a target because he beat the one that was favoured to win. Book makers and gamblers were very much interested in 100 metres sprint hence Johnson took them by surprise.

@@SHANKS0412 One of the issues is Johnson went out of his way to get caught by taking a banned substance a couple weeks before the Olympics. Watch the 30 for 30 on the 88 Olympics if you want to understand better. And while the people in the race weren't caught that day, most of them we're caught later on in their career. Everyone was doping, including Lewis.

Bolt wins it easily without any extra push, shows how good he is.

I salute this legend and never allowed americans to take any gold in his era. Jamaicans are lucky to have this golden boy. He won 8 gold medala with everytime new records.

More impressive is the quality of the footage improving as years go by

An event where 100th of a second matters, Bolt used to take margin which made others look like kids.

It’s amazing that every winner from 1984 to 2016 was either born in Jamaica or the USA. I didn’t realize that until now. Linford Christie, Ben Johnson, Donovan Bailey were born in Jamaica. Carl Lewis tried to disrespect the Jamaicans about a sudden rise in the sport but it looks like he wasn’t a student of the sport as I thought.

Ben Johnson waited too long to stop taking steriods, had he stopped taking steroids before the 1988 Track Season he would of tested clean like C.Lewis and the rest of the Sprinters. Carl Lewis has admitted to taking steroids on numerous occasions. Back in those days they all "JUICED" You had to compete or be competitive! Those guys knew when to stop their "CYCLE" so they could pass the Test before the Olympics! Johnson couldn't resist taking them for as close to testing as possible, in his case. He was tested right after his win in 1988 and was positive.

As long as I live nothing will be better than 2008 final and bolt celebrating 3/4 through the race

Bolt was the highest physical supreme epitome of the best human sprinter EVER! He will never be surpassed, unless another such physical specimen arrives with s similar athletic tall physique....he redefined the shape of sprinting in every sense!🙏

I was pretty fast in high school and I remember my track coach showing me a track magazine around sophomore-junior year. There was an article featuring a kid from Jamaica who was around my same year and I was flabbergasted. Man, I grew up watching Carl lewis.. I was 4 years old during this exact event.. I can remember the following events.. it's nice to see one of Carl's jumps, from when I was 4, and couldn't remember this specific event.. not good remembrance.. but some.. I'm 42 years old now, it's insane.. or, should I say now, it's no longer insane, it's Usain.. lol.. Usain lighting bolt.. lol..

Carl Lewis Goat

Lewis was a phenomenal talent ...he was the 80s Bolt. At the time everyone wanted to watch him. Not just the fastest at 100m & 200m but the longest jumper too. Just see the long jump all-time list and >35yrs later he's still unmatched! In my opinion, comfortably a top-5 greatest track & field male athlete of all time.

Jamaica has one of, if not the best school track and field programs in the world. They produce athlethes from pre school, elementary, middle and high school. Their high school boys and girls championship is something to behold. It's the culminating event for their yearly season of athletics. This is where all the powerhouse high schools pump out their best athletes with crazy talents on display. Every Jamaican world class athlete is a product of this program.

I hereby set the records straight for the benefit of those that might get hoodwinked by your blatant lie. Carl Lewis had [supposedly] finished 2nd to the Canadian Ben Johnson at the Seoul Olympics. However, after the dope test [mandatory for especially the top 4 finishers of every competition] Johnson was found to have doped and was thus disqualified with the gold medal being handed to Lewis. That's the plain fact! 'nuff said.

That has to be a little demoralizing to be the second fastest man in the world and watch Bolt just walk away from you like you stopped in the final 50 meters

Bolt was a dog coming out of the blocks but around the 25 yard mark he just started cruising. If he would have had a better start I believe he would have crushed the WR. Was fun watching him for sure.

My favorite was 1988 despite Ben Johnson stripped of the gold medal. Anytime loudmouthed Carl Lewis got beat that was an event.
