At my boxing gym we have one of these but more advanced. You can increase the intensity and it counts how much you do each stride. Its a killer haha

LucusL I was looking at something like that on amazon too. I was thinking about getting a stepper fitness machine with hydraulic but they don’t have a good life span.

In terms of applying high resistance to your climber training, the VC offers 11 settings of buttery smooth resistance up to 500lbs of force.
Better if the range of motion could be greater

How about one and was on it for 15 minutes straight and my heart rate never got past 98 I'm assuming you're going to have to go for an hour just to get a serious cardio exercise

Did you do Hiit cardio? You go as fast and deep as you can for 30 seconds then slow down. There so many variations. It is much easier to go at a slower steady pace. But incorporating fast strides with squats can really make a difference

Unlike hydraulic steppers, which need power to depress on each step…this works on a pulley system based on weight…I’m not sure that this is more effective than a rocking chair…

It has a friction device where you can adjust the weight it takes to be able to move, it`s not just a pulley system.

We have one and it actually works very well. I thought the same thing when my wife brought it home. But then, I’m only 165 pounds.

No it’s not. I have one and working out on it is intense. I’ve never done more than 5 minutes cuz it wears me out so quickly.

@@BA-lv1um old comment but I’m replying for others, my one knee gets swollen every 3 weeks for some weird reason and lasts for about a week. It’s like a knee period omg lmao. Well I haven’t had a flare up in a couple weeks so my knees been great. I’m 185 and 5’6. I can only do about 1 min at a time because I’m just starting out. It’s my second day doing it and my knees started to pinch in pain. So maybe if you have that issue with your knees it will after a little time doing it. The pain does go away after a break
