I did this during the quarantine and literally my stomach has flattened and is so hard . I didn’t do one ab workout just used this and some cheap mini stepper (which I don’t think helped my abs ) anyway I did do it every day anywhere from 15 to 50 min this thing works .....

linda sullivan awwww glad I can help 😁 yes good for you !!!! Just stay devoted and I did mostly long strides like extending almost all the way without unlocking my knees . You will feel it and know because it’s harder( not real hard I could tolerate it but I could tell it was working better ) good luck 👍 enjoy your new machine 😊

linda sullivan yessss you know what your doing . And I think I meant to say don’t lock your knees LOL I’m still confused right now . But I feel obligated to post my original comment because I have been going to the gym for years the last five years doing mostly cardio but in my younger years I did everything and I never had such tight/hard abs . So this machine clearly works . Anyway please let me know how you make out I would love to hear back 🤗 of course anytime 💜 ( also my name is Linda 😂 I go by Lee for the most part )

I recall these feet/hand-climbers from awhile ago down at our local college gym but from an entirely different manufacturer. Preface: I do train regularly; considering a climber but I know that in any running step or squat: one's knees are to never extend past-the-toes during any range of the motion. Question: does the angle of the MaxiClimber put the knees AT RISK? I notice your video shows the users knees going slightly past the angle/plane of their toes (or it is just the camera person's angle?) Question: Is it well built?

Just received mine today, Easy assembly. But mine has very stiff n jerky movement. Pretty sure I assembled it correctly. Maybe I need to loosen the screws that hold the cable in place. But I dont' think that's the issue.. Wonder if I can add some more lube(?) where it has grease already to it for smoother operation? The ones I see on vids sound and look very smooth. Hmm???

I just got one and I have to say, it does not move as fast as it appears in the ads...I was told by customer service that I could add a little bit of WD-40 to the wheels/tracks and that helps with easier movement. I am a fairly serious fitness person and I think machine provides a good workout. I use it as 'ancillary' cardio after my weight training. And in answer to any questions about getting toned or reducing the size of this or that body part by using this alone (while I am not a fitness expert by any means) - just, no. There are many rules, including but not limited to: being in a calorie deficit, having a healthy diet and getting other forms of exercise, that make one toned and very fit. That being said, I consider this to be a very satisfying purchase and additional to my fitness arsenal.

However I tried a similar 'Vertical Gym' product and after two weeks the black rollers that guide the moving bars started to shed black powder and flakes. The retailer could not help but refunded. You need to grease them, black flakes mean friction means surfaces that should roll or slide are not they are rubbing. Make sure all rollers run free, i actually replaced the main cable pulley on mine with a metal gated one that had a bearing as the plastic one doesnt but the other rollers do.

Great if it works...... If you use it everyday for 20 minutes the rollers will fail within 6 weeks, the rollers are a major weakness in this unit, replacement parts take 2 months to replace.....

Good for knees but they will ache to start with as its like climbing many flights of stairs, i walk many miles a day but my legs and knees still hurt after 5 minutes when i first got it. Do a few minutes and rest then build up over a few weeks to 30 minutes non stop. No knee problems now. I also did squats in the gym so was surpised my knees hurt at first but its only because the muscles and tendons are now used to it. If you ride a bike a lot then i guess it may not be the same problem. Squats in the gym stopped my knees from cracking and feeling arthritic, this takes it to another level. Just do a few minutes and build up gradually. I do an average of 500 calories worth a day for at least 5 days a week on it normally while doing other stuff either in one shot while watching tV or intermittantly while online working so as to get a break from sitting too long. got mine secondhand £60 from gumtree, you will fined many people but such kit and never use it so soon get rid of it. Same people join gyms and never go other than to pose in full makeup.

The peddles are small and it puts a lot of force on the knees unfortunately the Versaclimber is the better because it is designed better. Bigger peddles swivel and stronger so you can work out hard and not break it

You could tell the handle is not ergonomically correct, I'm sure after a few minutes your hands will feel sore. They should design it with the handle as close to the palm angle as possible.

Erik Michael not really, I've done 4 weeks already of 15 minutes 5 days a week and never have my hands been sore. Where you do feel the work is your legs

I just hopped on mine, I can only do about 40 seconds at a time, but this thing is so fun, so i try to do as much as I can. The diet stuff is kind of not true. If you can work it off, then you can eat it. I am blessed with high metabolism, so it's easy for me to lose weight, but if you replace all your rice with quinoa, then you will see results.

Don't by this product if you live outside of the USA or Canada. They won't ship you spare parts. Spare parts that obviously ware out and need replacing.
