I had a flowmaster on mine for about a year, and it was ok, but wasn't the sound I was looking for. I bought the muffler for about $30 so it was a decent deal, but then I found a guy that lives near me makes the gmmg catback systems.. game changer! Flowmaster sounded cheap after I installed the gmmg exhaust. Paid the price for it tho..

Understood, My Roush hits 123db. The 94 z28 I have has set many years and I finally found an ignition system for it that is outstanding and done all my research. Gonna convert it this summer to the Torqhead 24x. Which is what GM should’ve done from the get go.

This is really old but the opti isn’t that bad. The only problem is water, but if you change your cap and rotor out every year like you do on most distributor powered cars you’ll almost never have a problem. Mine has been factory since 1995. Never once had a problem that didn’t go away with a new cap and rotor (usually the cap is the problem)

With onset of 10% ethanol gas every winter the plastic(poly) high pressure line cracks start it up and it sprays everywhere, This will be my retirement project when I retire, other than that it’s gonna sit on the concrete pad outback and let the squirrels live in it. I’m done with it for now. I’ll be replacing all the lines with stainless I have a spare Coyote engine that I may put in it. Can’t stand a Chevy worked on to many of them in my life,

If it’s to loud , you are to old.

Mustang Guru not old just broke. Can't afford being pulled over and fined every time I drive it. It's still loud but I think it sounds better with the flowmaster anyway.

How did it run with the cat only on one side. My friend runs 1 long tube header on the passenger side n manifold on driver side of his v8 c10 n it runs good i guess

Not sure why you would do that. I would recommend both sides being equal. Cat was for show only it was gutted.

Cant hardly fit them out the back in a stock car. Would require alot of custom piping and probably aftermarket panhard support bars. Got the catback used for $30. Wasn't trying to do anything fancy.

That piece isn't on there anymore. Welds did their job. It was cheap, strong and leak free. You really need a Tig if you're going for looks. I really don't care for a piece that sits behind the water pump.
