4L80E or 4L80 CHEVY SILVERADO TRANSMISSION PAN UPGRADE. I upgraded my transmission oil pan. I wanted one with a drain plug. SUMMIT has one with a drain plug and if you over fill it when doing a drain and fill you will just open the drain plug and drain the excess fluid without having to drop the whole pan. As much as I love dropping transmission oil pans. I much rather drop one 1 10MM bolt instead of 18 which hold up the pan and remove the oil filter and pry it. The exhaust must be removed or pried out of the way. In order for the transmission oil pan to come down. To say the least. All this work can be made easy with an upgrade.
