Hi my name is Adrian Navarrette. I had this channel since 2008. I joined the US ARMY, came home, had kids, did college and all the good stuff in between. I have always been a hands on guy.Working on cars as a mechanic 👨🏽‍🔧 and on my house 🏠. More and more my construction projects have been growing in scale. My kids and my wife push me to do more and I have been progressively grown my content. I have a bit of everything in my channel because life is complex and providing for my family is my main priority. I work 40 plus hours a week and then I maintain my house and cars. My kids are learning as I learn and it pushes me to do more and better things in life. My son learn how to editing and is creating his own stories. Julian The Kang is his KZread Channel. I generally burn the midnight oil on most of my videos but they continue to get better as I find better techniques. I hope you like my content as I continue to grow as a person. I hope my content was helpful and I ❤️lovefeed back!

    I totally agree with you. This should be a normal task for anyone who owns a car. High school kids that drive will benefit allot from having some much needed hands on training. Joining the US ARMY AND GOING TO TRAITS SCHOOL WHERE IN FACT THE BEST choices I ever made. Some people need hands 🙌 on training and discipline. I hope my son joins a trait school or a military branch. I can only advise him and watch as he navigate 🧭 his own life. 😊☕️

    Don’t know how long you keep your cars but 10k intervals are too long

  • @newb387
    @newb38720 күн бұрын

    That’s what I thought 💭 but 0W-16 is certified to last 10K. I had a ton of older cars and 3K was it but the synthetic oils where not invented so modern vehicles have been restarted to last for the 10k. The oil looks super clean from 5K to 9k. I had to test it and run this test on my own vehicle but 0W-16 on this Toyota Venza will not fully break down and will last you 10k. I personally don’t push 10K. I change my oil at 7,500- 9,000 miles. It will give a schedule maintenance light at 5,000k miles so you change get tires 🛞 rotate and oil fluid changed but most people will get their oil changed as well and this light reset. The maintenance light 💡 will come on at 10K. So if you do your own services you can check your own fluids and rotate your own tire without having your oil changed and save some money. I bought a 2021 and a 2023 Toyota Venza and I’m about to run it to its first 10k miles and it runs smooth at 8k miles with the same oil. I’m probably going to run it 9K or see when I get a maintenance light. This is text from an article mentioning a similar point on modern cars and the use of full synthetic. In general, though, modern cars can manage 5,000 to 7,500 miles between oil changes. If your vehicle calls for a blended or full synthetic oil, you can push that to 10,000 miles. Old cars (i.e., those that date back to a time before synthetic oils became mainstream) will have relatively short oil-change intervals in comparison. Thank you for the question and I hope my answer was helpful. 😊☕️

  • @frankv64
    @frankv6420 күн бұрын

    The problem is it might last 10k under the right conditions like highway miles but lots of stop and go and short trips in cold weather will definitely degrade the oil. So in that case stick to 5 k intervals just to be safe. My Genesis said every 7500 miles but as the reasons I said above do it at 4500 miles so I do it every 2k because with the direct injection the oil get black within 500 miles. I guess every car is different also not just the driver

  • @newb387
    @newb38720 күн бұрын

    @@frankv64 Correct! Driving conditions is a big factor to take into consideration. Every individual must take that into consideration. I push it close to the 10k but I do all my checks periodically and prior to a long weekend drive. I usually take this to Oregon, California or Canada 🇨🇦 for a weekend getaway. 😊☕️

    I was going to trim it but when I was installing it I saw how tin and flexible the heat shield was. So I was able to bend it and I never had to trim it. You can cut it if it’s giving you a hard time when installing the activity mount but be careful because as soon as you trim it. The tin pieces of metal will become a razor sharp.

    My sharp drawer microwave fuse is always blown after I press start. I have replaced the Capacitor and the transformer, do you have any idea on what to check? The Magnetron is good.

  • @newb387
    @newb387Ай бұрын

    You have a short somewhere. Look for any 🔥 burnt 🔥 wires or melted plastic pieces or cuts in insulation or wiring. I had a Sharp Microwave Turntable Motor power cable hitting the body of the microwave and it welded the wire to the body and would replace the fuse and as soon as I started the microwave. The turn table would start. Causing power to go in but it would burn 🔥 the hot cable and the plastic connection and it melted into a part of the microwave body. That was a short that would cause me to pop a fuse every time so I had to replace the burnt cable and but connector. This was simple cut and splice. Finally I checked the Sharp Microwave Turntable Motor and it was also bad it had some kind of internal malfunction and it was what cause the cable to get hot and I caused the microwave to blow out 3 of my fuses before I could find the problem. You should look 👀 very closely at your wiring. This could be a full tear down. I wish you luck 🍀 on your troubleshooting journey.

    Does thus work for after market sensors for your rims?

  • @newb387
    @newb3872 ай бұрын

    All (TPMS) sensors are available in two frequencies: 315MHz or 433MHz. So after market does not matter. The only thing that would make a difference in the way you would program your sensors would be the trim model of your truck 🛻. The TPMS relearn tool works for all GM, GMC and Chevrolet because they all run on the same frequencies. It’s a so simple and I love it! If you have any questions ask away and I will do my best to try and answer them.

    Les shwab sold me a 2 year old tire at the price of a new tire. Should I be worried? I feel like they stold 2 years of my tires.

  • @newb387
    @newb3872 ай бұрын

    Les Schwab is a very good and well trusted company so the tires 🛞 that they sold you where 2 years old. If price was the main thing you were looking for 4 tires for the price of 1 is a really good deal. Just don’t neglect the tire rotations and any service that Les Schwab will recommend because all they do is tire and that’s why I think they are a solid company. Just ride them and if you feel any issue on the road inspection your tires. I have had brand new tires blow out at 10k and I have had used tire last me 80k on a tight budget. The same can be said about used tires I had one blow out once I hit the high way but I got them at the junk yard. I think having a trusted company that will give you on the spot advice and can help you service the used tires you bought would be more beneficial than having junk yard tires. I hope 🤞 this was helpful.

This is for anyone with a 34 waist size (US). I just thought 💭 about it. It takes more time to lift this vehicle and put it on jack Stan’s. I was in a hurry on Saturday because I needed to do my oil change and I wanted to spend more time with my kids. This video will show a person that he can do more with less. I got oil on my hand 🖐️ and I used a rag to wipe them off. Then I moved fast. I can see this being too tight for anyone with a waist bigger than a 34 and heavier than 170 pounds. I have other videos using a jack and wearing gloves because I had more time but when you’re in a hurry you can also do it like this. 😊🔧
