the fact that this sounds so much like the album version is crazy, AND it's even better than the album version. Very few artists today can sound just as good, if not better, when performing live like mgk can. I'm sooooo glad he's bringing this kind of music back.

As much as I think MGK isn't a great singer, it's admirable that he plays it so honest and close to the chest, he knows his limits and doesn't use any trickery to make himself sound different. It really makes his personal songs hit so much harder.

I'm new to mgk, and I honestly wasnt a huge fan of his discography but I've watched so many of his videos recently because I enjoy his personality - and a lot of the his songs are now growing on me (I fell in love with el diablo immediately tho) and when I actually heard the lyrics of Lonely I just felt the emotion especially in the chorus. Maybe lyrically it doesn't hit as hard at first but I feel like melodically, he captured that feeling of longing for someone who isn't here anymore really well...and then those seemingly simple lyrics hit a bit harder. Idk why I'm rambling but I really do enjoy this song, and this performance made me tear up. I'm so sorry for all the people here who are missing their loved ones rn. Sending love your way tonight.

My aunts been dying slowly of stage 4 lung cancer for the past 3 years I’ve seen her go bald and grow her hair back over and over again fall down get back up get weak and get strong multiple times…….I fear this is her last year maybe even last couple months….and she has always been a major importantce in my life so the fact u made this for ur aunt this song hits really close to home especially they held the phone when u took ur last breath cuz I know when the day comes the odds are she well be back in the hospital again and with covid they probly won’t allow visits so sometimes really late at night when my family’s asleep I hide away in my room and drink to this song
