Pop punk never left. That said, I’m digging all of these songs and I’m stoked for the new album. MGK grew up on all the same pop punk that we did and while I agree that Travis is all over this stuff, it’s still exciting to see an artist transition like this.

@@learyjimmy yes pop punk never died or anything but there haven't been as many great pop punk bands as in the 2000s lately. Also it isn't really mainstream anymore, but in the 2000s it pretty much was. I would just like to see mgk and travis bringing it back to the masses if you know what i mean.

Judging from the many angles, there's roughly 4 cameras rolling(2 pointed at MGK, 1 at the drummer and 1 at Lead Guitar, notice you never see just to the left of MGK, thats where 3 of them are). Quite possibly, that dude either tripped up while playing the solo or it was added later. At some point they show him and his left hand isn't in coordination with the music 12:57. They edited that scene
