[4K] Interactive Monsters Inc. Ride & Go Seek! - Popular Ride at Tokyo Disneyland

[4K POV] Monsters Inc. Ride & GO Seek ride - the most Popular ride at Tokyo Disneyland. 100 times better than Monsters Inc ride at Disney California Adventure.
"Experience the world of the Disney/Pixar film Monsters, Inc. in this attraction. The human child, Boo, and lots of monsters, including Sulley and Mike, are playing a special game of hide-and-go-seek and you're invited to join them. As you travel through the Monsters, Inc. offices and the streets of Monstropolis, use your flashlight to "find" the funny, hidden monsters." - Tokyo Disneyland website
Be sure to visit Tokyo Disneyland to experience the awesome interactive Monsters Inc ride. It's amazing in person.
If you guys have time, definitely visit Tokyo Disneyland Resort especially Tokyo DisneySea. It's really an amazing theme park in the world. Video doesn't do this ride justice. It must be experience in person. The best thing is the ticket to both parks are so much affordable. It costs way less to visit two Tokyo Disney parks than it's to visit Disneyland resort in California.

For those who want to know WHAT they say , here's a transration! (I'm Japanese so I'm sure there are many mistakes but please forgive me.....! ) 00:28 Announcement "Attention all visitors! Once you have boarding your tram, Monsters Inc. ask that you remain seated with your hands, arms, feet, legs, tentacles and tails inside your vehicle. And don't forget to supervise your young children and little monsters!" (In this video, this announcement in Japanese has been cut in the middle of announcement, but the same announcement "in English" can also be heard at loading area.) 00:45 Announcement "We inform you that your flashlights can be used after Mike turns off the light." 00:57 Sully "Boo, we play hide and seek like this! We're gonna start when the light turns off!" 01:00 Boo "Kitty!" 01:04 Randall "I'm gonna catch her! The funny game is almost over..." 01:13 Mike "Hi there! Can you just try to shine your flashlight on helmet? Okay, then let's get started!" 01:19 The Orange character next to Mike "I found you!" 01:20 Mike "Hey! Shine your flashlight on HELMET, not on EYE!" 01:35 Sully "I'll definitely find you, Boo. It is no use hiding there!" 01:40 Randall "It is no use hiding there..." 01:51 Sully "Where are you, Boo? I can hear your voice though." 01:53 Boo "Kitty!" 01:57 Mike "PUSH THE BUTTON!!!" 02:06 Randall "It's just perfect... There're no children who don't like candy." 02:23 Sully "Boo, are you there? I can't see you. where has she been? She must be around here though." 02:52 Mike "I found you Boo! Oops! It's not Boo! hahahah" 03:22 Sully "Boo, where are you?? It's time to go back to home!" 03:29 Randall "After getting helmet, I try to catch the little kid!" 03:32 Mike "Find you!! Hey where is your helmet??" 04:04 Mike "Hide and Seek is over now! Well done everyone!" 04:26 Sully "Boo, here's your new helmet." 04:28 Boo "Kitty..." 04:30 Mike "Isn't she pretty?" 04:31 Boo "Mike Wazowski" 04:32 Sully "We see you real soon!" 04:45 Roz "Hey! the girl sitting on the second vehicle, I thought you're Minnie Mouse. You're quite pretty!" 04:56 Roz "Yeah, I'm talking about YOU! Bye-bye" 05:06 Roz "Hey! the girl sitting on the second vehicle, Is that your boy-friend sitting next to you? He's a cool guy for a human being isn't he. Come again! Bye-bye!" Hope you can enjoy the ride/video with this translation! :)

Okay, about the room trick at 4:14. DAMN is it good. I'll call it flawless bc it took me a good twenty minutes of replay, pausing and searching down into comments. Still, I don't think it was adequately explained. If you go to the moment when the cam first enters the room, PAUSE. It's the best angle. 1. The mirror is not as tall as the monster room, only as tall as the bedroom, about halfway. 2. The grids are the PERFECT camouflage for this. What you actually are looking at is the wall to the RIGHT of the room. The mirror is as tall as the door and angles out maybe 120 degrees. I suck at geometry. 3. That yellow tank at the bottom hides the seam between the mirror and floor. 4. You can kinda see the ceiling light beaming off the top of the mirror if you draw your eyes directly back from the top of the door to the back "wall." 5. The room looks as if it's on a slight incline, so they might be using forced perspective. This is damn brilliant! I was like "awww" the entire ride. I get up to this point and go, "Wait...what???" LOL. Gotta love it. Also I'm gonna assume that Tony's Grossarys is a play on gross and grocery and not a typo. Right? Please someone tell me that's intentional.

There is no Cars Land in Asia either, or Mission Space, or Illuminations, no World of Color.. The Haunted Mansion in Tokyo is an outdated version of the one in the Magic Kingdom, with older technology and no interactive queue. The Tower of Terror in Tokyo is shorter and less thrilling than the original Tower of Terror in DHS Some things are better, some arent

This is why Disney are the best at dark rides. They make them realistic as much as they can. No screens and no flaws. Take note Universal and Merlin Entertainments

Quite possibly the cutest ride I've ever seen. Wish our Monsters Inc ride here at DLR was like this! Poor thing is just rotting away not getting many riders since it's hidden tucked in the back where no one can really see it.

One of the rules to making a good story that Pixar tries to follow is "Accidents that get your character into trouble are good, accidents that get them out of trouble are cheating." Not only was Randall's defeat an overly cheesy violation of this rule, the butterfly net was completely unessesary and majorly subtracts from my perception of him as a threat. He built a machine that sucks screams out of children and possibly kills them in the process. Give that lizard some respect!
