4K Fast Trains at Gowanbrae / Airport West - Australian Freight Trains & Passenger Trains

English - Welcome to another Schony747 train presentation. If you like the content, hit subscribe to get weekly updates.
This video features fast trains (by Australian standards anyway!) at Gownabrae / Airport West. This is the main standard gauge line between Melbourne and Sydney. There is also a borad gauge line to Northern Victoria but no BG trains were seen during this filming.
Typical speeds around this location would be between 80km per hour and 100 km per hour. Some of the trains that arrive under the cover of darkness were running late on this occasion so there were more than normal trains arriving in daylight!
00:13 - Pacific National 4CM3 - NR39 G526 NR69
02:04 - NSW Trainlink ST24 to Sydney - XP 2016 XP 2000

That cement train was almost over powered for the length of the train. I know cement is heavy but it's not that heavy.

Australia should have dual line, freight priority, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, in particular and Cairns sooner than later. Nah, our mob loves roads, trucks, and only 35 days national fuel reserves.

It's the dual-gauge loop linking back at Broadmeadows to the Seymour line. The passenger train is Vline's only standard gauge train. Melbourne to Albury and return.

The track is in a pretty poor condition: I know the zoom exaggerates things, but there's a lot of bumps and mud-holes that have been poorly patched up.
