Beautiful place. But I was cringing looking at one of the divers that had absolutely no control on his buoyancy or any trim and was kicking the stalactites. Disgraceful that people go to such a beautiful place and have no care for this delicate enviroment. A rule of diving is to dive within your limits and this guy has nothing to do diving here. Very dangerous for him and for this cavern.

Absolutely beautiful. Would be really cool if they showed the depth in one of the corners.
It’s really sad seeing inexperienced divers taken to these spots. Already at 08:42 you can see the diver bumping into decorations that took tens of thousands of years to form and can never be regenerated.

That is an analogy of humans relationship with earth and as well sentient life in general. We are like a highly evolved self aware virus at times but…we also inherently have a capacity for deep love and gratitude of all of it…the polarities of life.

You can't tell how close the diver is to anything because of the camera angle, plus, the current could have been pushing the divers up.

@@Cara-39 you can literally see their feet touching the ceiling. There aren’t currents going into the ceiling, and even if there were it’s the divers responsibility to adjust. Those caves are super fragile.

That used to be true a few decades ago but these days it's relatively safe, due to modern rules and strict training methods. For example, it's statistically safer than alpine skiing. As a cave diver I'm sure I'm not objective but I find it to be very relaxing. The last thing you want in a cave is an adrenaline rush so we train for a nice relaxed dive.

This particular cave system makes me remember how easy it is to lose track of where you're at, pluss that old familiar fear of potentially losing power and light... I don't know why that always seems to creep up on me. Other than that this is making me start jonesing for exploring again I don't know if anyone's explored it but at exactly 37 minutes in there's an opening that looks like it might possibly lead to another system that they may have missed. If I didn't have people with me I'd get myself in trouble every time because I always have to know what's around the next corner. This is definitely one of the more relaxing videos on this subject. What a great find....
