My gosh... Im in tears right now. I've listened to this music some months ago, when my Boyfriend and I was separated from each other, because of this f**ing virus. There was a lot of lonely nights, when I just laid in my bed in the dark, listened to this and cried alone. But yes, it's ended, we can meet anytime, if we want. I was never as happy as I am happy now. If anyone reading this, and sad, lonely, in tears... I wrote this last year because I was in a really dark place and it made me think of other people who are going through same or worse problems,so I decided to make life at least a bit bearable. You're right, I am in a dark place. I need a divorce from my abusive husband. We've been separated for almost 10 years and he's still trying to force me to take my name off the deed to our house. Now he has turned my grandson against me because of this. My daughter Is 43 and disabled after a drunk driver rear-ended her. I'm her caregiver 24/7 and never get a break. Her father doesn't have anything to do with her so it's just me caring for her. I'm 65 and on Social Security, actually living below the poverty line. Our house is worth $300,000 and the law in VA is simple, I get half of the marital assets in a divorce. This August 10th marks our 46th anniversary. I hung in there, taking his abuse, just so my daughter would have a father. I grew up without ever knowing mine,he left before I was born and it has affected me my whole life. The thing about getting a divorce is that lawyers don't care if you're poor, they want their $5,000 up front before they do anything. It's just so depressing 😞 I have a cousin who has offered to loan me the money but it could take years before the house is sold or this is settled. I've seen where you can do it yourself but I don't want to go up against him without a lawyer, someone who's got my back. This is what runs through my mind at night when I finally lay down to sleep and this music helps me drift off to sleep, I don't know what I would do without it! Thanks for listening to my rant! My three year old daughter asks to listen to this every single night when I put her to bed. We lay together and listen to the beautiful music and the peaceful rain. She has never been able to stay awake long enough to hear the music after 5 minutes. It knocks her out every single time. Whenever she gets a boo boo or gets really upset about something she always asks to listen to it and falls peacefully asleep in my arms.

One of the comments says "I miss myself" and honestly, i cant relate more to that statement. I remember being little, i was so confident and happy. I laughed and smiled and everywhere I went people loved me, i made friends so easily. At the age of twelve that all changed and now at 17 im even worse. I have no confidence, smiling and laughing is harder than i ever imagined it could be and people dont love me because they dont know I'm even there.. I'm so quiet and reserved that im almost invisible. I can't even tell the truth to my friends when they ask if I'm okay.. So yeah i miss myself, my Happy, carefree self where i didn't have a worry in the world.. Sorry for going on a bit but yeah.. thanks for reading if you got this far and just know, even though i dont know you, i love you and wish you all the happiness the world has to offer you.

If you can, try to find someone who you can take your mask off with. For me, it really helps to be able to talk to someone as you are, who will be able to listen to you specifically, especially if they are family or a close friend

@@oswin849 I have a counsellor now but for some reason I can never seem to tell him the truth when he asks me stuff. and I have a close friend who goes through alot of what i do but I dont wanna burden her with my problems so I just pretend to be fine. and as for the family? not one of them can be trusted.

As far as counselling, I have one too, and I just figured that she was my counselor and I had to trust her. Which is weird, because I don't usually do that with people. So I know it can be hard, but I really encourage you to try to open up if you can.
