This is a different type of skill. I know we always say each singer is different but no this is another level of difference . Brandy’s has a mystique to her voice that is unreal and deadly to those that pays attention to the little small things she does . Her control is on insane asylum fr fr , the way she can illustrate a note exactly how she wants it to sound on a drop of a dime. That means she can always just sing a song different and do all types of stuff within that one song. Most singers can switch it up every now and then but Brandy is so clever that she always finds these notes that only she can construct in her head . Then her mysterious tone , I haven’t quite figured out what to name her tone because it’s something like I’ve never heard , it’s like a blend of so many instruments . Brandy is truly truly in a league of her own when it comes to vocals . --- UNREAL !

I've been asking her to do this for years .just sit down and sang with a band and no choreography.. she finally did it and this is literally one of her best live shows she was vocally rested and I think the empty Auditorium created a space to where she could hear herself better and focus on her notes plus she's always suffered from stage freight so she wasn't so nervous here .this was perfect ❤❤

Agreed . This is where her voice really can shine. I’ve been wanting Brandy to just sit her ass down and SING SING SING like I know she can. I hate she didn’t do the live Orchestra show in DC , this is the closest we will get to that for now . The auditorium shows and etc really dosent give her the ability to shine because she can barely hear herself and she leans with lipping “some” of her songs . And she looked AMAZING. I love that this was acoustical, too. You could hear every single note and nuance in her voice. Her voice wasn't overpowered by a huge band...just strings, keys, and a background track. Don't get me wrong...I love the huge band when necessary. But THIS approach...it really makes you appreciate and respect her gift on a whole other level! These live vocals were ON POINT! #VocalBible # Beast

KoyeMauve Yep. It has this mystique to it that I can’t figure out . She sounds like many instruments which she has mastered most of all her tones. She is truly truly in the lane of her very own

Brandy's voice is butter

I will never understand why she is so underrated: her tone is so unique, her vocal abilities are biblical, her passion and production, her harmonies, her lyrics, her fucking everything is legendary yet we only hear people talk about Beyoncé, Mariah, Whitney, Céline. I love them all, they are legends of course but i'm like "Bitch, have you ever listened to Miss Brandy? Get your shit together". 25 years in the business and her voice still sounds so perfect and healthy, I'm like "Bitch, she is LEGEND. Period!"

Had to come here and listen to Brandy again while watching the episode of Moesha where she was singing backup for Hakeem and pretended like she couldn't sing. I'm thinking, "this is BRANDY. Shes one of the best singers." The irony lol. Brandy is 🔥🔥
