@@natashawall8131 whitney gave brandy praise according to babyface, whitney said "this girl can sang" to brandy as well, she probably did say monica can sang too, but whitney coached both monica and brandy so it wouldn't be surprising why she completed both artist's, as for the rumors that is if you're referring to their feud before the boy is mine performance nobody really knows what went down, but I am a firm believer of if you put your hands on me I'm going to put my hands on you, and monica physically attacked brandy according to Dallas, if she did that then to me that was all the way wrong on monica's part, but idk if brandy had carried herself as being fake but I never seen it, monica and brandy both have unique distinctive voices and they both have powerful vocals I will say that.

Monica actually had the best performance that night! She just got up and flat foot sang. She didn’t need dizzying runs or over the top production to enhance her performance. I think nowadays people are confusing vocal layering, heavy production and heavy vocal acrobats throughout a song as great singing. But remember Phyllis Hyman, Luther, Whitney, Marvin Gaye etc they were flat foot singers that just grabbed the mic and let it rip and that’s where Monica lives!
