Autotune is a pitch corrector. It was made for her. It would help keep her in tune! Not the way most are using it to distort their sound. One thing though, Monicas vibrato is so erratic it would probably confuse the pitch corrector and it probably wouldnt know what pitch she was trying to sing.

Y’all need to learn to give Monica the same grace that y’all gave/give Whitney and Mariah when it comes to her voice now. Please understand that Monica has been using her voice CONSISTENTLY for 30 years now, with it being at 1 of it’s strongest points when she was just a teen. You can’t possibly think that your voice can be extremely strong in your teens and then hold that same strength 30 years later. Out of all her 90’s peers, Monica has used her voice on a consistent basis so of course it isn’t as strong. Y’all find any excuse to justify Mariah and Whitney not so great performances, well Monica should be given that same grace being that she’s been singing the house down for 30 years now. And let’s be real, she JUST started having off vocal nights these last few years. For a good 25 years her voice remained one of the best and strongest to ever do it and no matter what happens now she has proved why vocally she’s one of our greats. Please step up if you need me to refer you to any LIVE performances to back up what I say!

I totally agree with everything you said. Monica is always maintained grace and class despite not getting her just due. She's an excellent performer and her voice is beautiful. I she gives her fans her best whenever she performs.

Exactly, people get in these comments but can't sing their way out of a paper bag, but talk like they're experts on vocals. If being an artist was this easy then they'd all be doing it right now. It's not as simple as grabbing a mic and singing. These vocalist aren't machines, they're human. And they're not going to be perfect every performance.

As a vocalist (definitely not as skilled as she), I can tell that her monitors/in-ears levels were off … even with perfect pitch, it can be difficult to hear the notes in different settings…. Open space, number of bodies, etc can change the entire dynamic of the sound that you hear and/or produce vocally…. MONICA IS AMAZING!!! 💯
