It’s just called “Ben Drowned”, and there is a LOT more story from it. It’s basically the origin of the classic “video game creepypasta” tropes, and back in it’s day, it was the only creepypasta that used real footage, so realistic that some people thought it *was* real. It spawned an entire ARG that you should look into if you wanna learn more.

My guy really called a creepypasta "one of the biggest internet mysteries of all time"
