Statistically Kobe is considered the greatest Laker. Majic is often left out of best Laker and GOAT discussion. Majic has championship hardware starting in highschool, college and the NBA. Much respect for Kobe but Majic is the greatest Laker hands down.

I agree. And a lot of players have been compared to MJ, but for me Kobe was and is the closest thing. And he's damn close! I think Jordan is still better, but only by like 5-10%. Skill wise they're basically the same. But for me Jordan was more efficient on offense and a slightly better defender than Kobe. But at their absolute best, there's not much between them.

Thank you kobe for everything. The mamba made a HUGE impact on me and millions of other people's lives in terms of mentality and he always had that "work harder" mindeset. #2 ever, RIP kobe, im thankful you got a statue now in Crypto Areana, you 100% deserve it, Easily one of my favorite players ever. I had a discussion about how GREAT Kobe was as a player with a neighbor and he said Kiwi Leonard could STOP Kobe and i said no way. LOL. Told my neighbor Kobe would lock down Kiwi defensively ( Kiwi is a very good 2 way player,but,offensively he has 3/4 go to moves ) Kobe would watch game films on Kiwi,then take away those few go to moves,leaving Kiwi confused and disgusted with himself.

u can’t tell me there is another player in nba history that could do what kobe did…whenever kobe had the ball there is no telling what he was gonna kill u w…and on top of that he was a dog on defense too…fuck the stats, kobe never cared for em, only cared about winning and got 5 rings. kobe proved he didnt need a super team to win multiple championships either…he is def top 2, and is number 1 in my book, his basketball mastery, charisma, and winning record solidifies this. Game winner at Charlotte (14:12)... listen to the crowd! Reverse dunk at Minnesota in the playoffs (17:33). My favorite Kobe dunk. Reaction from the amazed crowd. Rainbow game winner at Portland (20:55)... half the crowd had their hands up after the shot went in! The reverse dunk at Golden State (42:50). Again at least half the crowd celebrated the dunk. The drive and dunk on 2 at Brooklyn (43:30)... listen to the whole Brooklyn crowd go "Oooohhhh" at the same time! The video does not show the reverse pivot move at the Garden, where the crowd was mixed with "Ohhh" and laughter at Kobe's gorgeous move.

I was never a Kobe fan back in the day, mainly because he destroyed my team 😅 but ive always been a fan of his game! He was one of those rare gems that could just dominate at the highest level back when you got beat up in the paint 😂😂 as much as I love his ankle breakers, high IQ passes, his jumper his contact dunks are my favorite he was fearless.

I don’t know anyone better, I don’t know anyone who had the amount of drive that Kobe Bryant had. No one will ever be better than the Black Mamba. You can score thousands of points and break as many records as you want. In my eyes, that doesn’t make you the greatest. What makes him the greatest was his drive. He was driven to win, and he didn’t quit til it was done. If he lost, he evolved, he changed it up and got better. He wanted to be the best. And in my eyes he succeeded in doing that. He is the best, and dare I say he is the greatest of all time.

My favorite KB8 memory is the last game KB8 vs MJ23 March, 28.2003, Kobe Bryant was decided to blast Jordan. And he did it! He did it again with justice after MJ23 said to him "you can use my shoes but you will never fill them". After Jordan losing 10 consecutive times he faced Lakers last game and as GOAT he surely saw GOD playing in the court. Kobe was unstoppable!, One of the greatest performances in NBA History!. After 1st Q he became on fire🔥, 9 consecutive 3pts, 2pts, etc No fails! 💥 MJ23 could only literally crash Kobe to stop him or he would continue to score without limits. That day my mind exploded, never seen before an humilliation performance like that! 55pts for Kobe, 23pts for Jordan. Next MJ23 announced his definitive retirement, and did it till now. One thing this awesome game today is totally banned from the web only remains in the mind of people who watched

The more I analyze Kobe's game, the more it confuses me. He has almost a slow approach on offence, like Luka has. Like he just does the most basic things to such an extreme level, he doesn't need to be the quickest, biggest, smartest guy on the court to dominate. That's how it looks and feels to me anyway, for all I know, he's was all those things at once.
