EQUIPMENT NEEDED FOR CLASS:
-Small Pilates ball (doesn't have to be the exact same size I'm using, but for reference, mine is a 7.5" ball) amzn.to/3qEZrlJ
If you're used to taking Classical Pilates classes, this will be a smidge different. I'm trained through STOTT, which is a contemporary, anatomy-driven approach - and then I put my own flair on top of that. :)

Your classes are incredible! I am feeling the burn! I love how you breathe loudly so I can get my breath down properly. Your pilates classes are a better workout than weight training, IMO. I feel more muscles working. Are you able to show modifications for people who have shoulder issues? I have a rotator cuff tear and have a hard time being on my elbows for the floor work. I really look forward to your workouts. Pilates is no joke! Thank you for your dedication!

So happy to hear you love the classes! If the side body series is focused on the top leg/hip joint, you can always opt to lay all the way down on your side instead of propping up on your forearm. I can make a demo video of some other modification options as well ☺️

Keep the hip flexor work coming! This definitely revealed some imbalances for me today. I was really struggling with the teaser on the right leg! Liked this one and it was ways to so without a ball. Thanks!

Great workout. My neck started to fatigue during the side plank work. Tried checking posture and supporting my head, but had to take a few quick breaks. 😅

This is not uncommon! Throughout the day, the neck muscles aren't typically supporting our head against gravity horizontally, so side plank work can present a new challenge for them. Take breaks as needed and know that they will gradually strengthen and you'll notice endurance improving! ❤️
