442. Fluid Art: Two BIG Blooms In 20 Minutes! Great For Beginners!

Hi all! Until I get my lighting situation sorted in my studio, the next couple of videos are filmed in my doggie pool on the floor in the corner to prevent glare so you can actually see what I'm doing LOL. This is the 4th video with the same color palette; this time I'm creating two big bloom and spins on 20x20 Level 3 gallery wrapped canvases. I showed these to a client a few days after filming and they're sold!

Anyway, back to the video: I'm using a new to me pouring medium recipe too and omitting varnish altogether--check out the recipe below! Colors/Brands/Pouring Medium Recipe:
Colors/Brands/Pouring Medium Recipe:
House Paint-base aka puddle for the substrate:
PPG Multi-Pro in Eggshell.
Pouring Medium aka PM Recipe: mix with all colors EXCEPT the cell activator:
Behr 8300 Untinted Deep Base Paint (Home Depot); and Valspar Ultra Base C Untinted base. 50/50. Mix well. NO varnish added!
Brands/Colors mixed:
Golden Fluid Acrylics in Iridescent Bright Gold, and Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold. This Little Piggy pigments in Waterfall and Lagoon.
Golden, Atelier, and Da Vinci Fluid Acrylics: I put about 2-2 1/2 ounces of the pouring medium into a 3 ounce cup, then squirt in color until I reach my desired shade. Mix well.
For tube paint, I added an ounce of paint (heaping tablespoon) to a 3 ounce cup, then added 2 ounces of pouring medium. If still thick I add a squirt of Golden's High Flow Medium (thins and extends acrylic colors) and stir well. All pigments are 1/8th tsp. pre-disbursed with a small amount of JoSonja Varnish to wet it (stir really well), then add into a 3 oz. cup of Pouring Medium; stir well.
Cell Activator Color:
Australian Floetrol + Amsterdam Lamp Black and Amsterdam Grayish Blue. Approximately 3:1 Floetrol to paint.

18:00, the second one, was pretty exquisite! At 21:00 I noticed A LOT of those lines that you love...... STUNNING! The peacock cells are just killer, and my favorite part! That waterfall blue is amazing. So, the second one is the winner, for me. 🥰

First one is pretty but the 2nd one to me is amazing. It has more interest to it. The blue cells on the first one certainly do look textured. Whef..glad you gave #2 a well deserved 2nd chance to live on. That was a close one!😆 Thank you Karen for sharing😁😘

Both are gorgeous but the second one is my favorite! I was pleading with you through the screen not to pour over it! It reminds me of a beautiful bird flying toward the sun! If it wasn't sold already I would have bought it!

Obsessed with this color palette!!! I’m missing the specific piggies but doctored up a couple to kinda match Lagoon and Waterfall. My question is, when you “glaze” an area with paint after dry, what do you glaze with? Paint mixed with what?

Varnish is very drying
The cells on the first one are incredibly! But I prefer the composition of the 2nd one, love them both though. 💛🧡💙🩵🤍🖤 So are you saying you aren't using varnish at all in your colours? Just flow medium and deep base paint?
