If I enter a store and announce, "I'm here to lose hard and chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of bubble gum" will I likely get a game?

Let's all be honest, we were all in the last guy's position when we started going out to embrace our hobbies with strangers, got to have a few bumpy days before you get fully comfortable with a routine.

I can fully relate to the last guy as someone trying to get into the hobby for years getting out the awkward hot water is extremely difficult.

Reminds me of the time I would play the same guy in Sigmar for like a year. He always beat me. One time I beat him and he got so mad. lol.

Bit harsh with the last guy. I got a kind of clique group vibe from his story. You're right on putting yourself forwards or you'll get nowhere in this hobby though.

Speaking of broken models I once ripped a sister of battle in half when trying to take its head off to replace it.

Hmm I think the second guy needs to go to a club, that way games are arranged beforehand on social media or wherever.

ah yes, we had a teenager at work... i had to phone my mum for advice and to apologise for being one.

I have encountered people playing Warhammer who seem to be visualizing the in-game hostility too vividly so they bring a hostile attitude to the conversation. I think it's a bit like road rage. You're in your own world concentrating on non-human objects, so you end up blurting out things that are far less respectful than you'd normally be to other humans. People forget themselves and they need to try harder!
