SUMMARY:
- Pawanmuktasana, or wind-relieving pose, relieves the entire spine, especially the lower back and thighs, in a minute. Also, this yoga pose regulates the work of the intestine. Therefore, it’s useful to do it in the morning.
- The feet on the wall position rests the legs and back, opens the chest, and allows the lungs to be satiated with oxygen before going to bed.
- Wave exercises allow you to relax your back even more - they "get" to the deep muscles of the spine, located under the surface layers.
- If you do Shavasana properly before bed, it’ll be really easy to fall asleep. You’ll feel how the world is vanishing, and your whole body is as relaxed as possible. It’s time to cover yourself with a blanket and go to sleep.

Fun fact: 1. showering before sleeping can makes your mind calm down and you fall asleep fast. 2. While you are on the bed, use some cold eye drops can help your eyes get cold and increase moisture and your eyes keep closing until you fall asleep :D Like this if you think these facts are useful.

Yes I have something similar, something just the same really. You see it seems to take hours for me to get to sleep I go to bed at 10:30 which is when my work when I get home from work. And it takes me two hours to get to sleep. I get to sleep at 12:30. Now I am wondering if I’m actually asleep before then but that it seems to me that I am not sleeping until then.

I take a valerian tea , and I make sure that I take my shower “ early “ like 2 hours before bed. Gives me a nice “ cool down “ time, and I make sure not to I’m have too much food in my stomach, 3 hours after dinner, I am in bed. I’m getting tired just thinking about it.

Easiest trick / if you are in a cold climate/: a hot water bottle. Nothing keeps me awake longer than a cold bed and esp ice cold feet. Before getting into the bed preheat the part where your feet go, when you get into bed put the (same) hot water bottle on your lower stomach or against the lower back -> it will give you warm feet and deep sleep in minutes.

It is a very strange phenomenon that when you know you have to be somewhere, when the time is approaching and you wake up with say 3 hours left to sleep, your brain just cannot forget that the time is running out, and at least I very rarely sleep soundly after that. Not until it gets to the point that I will be late if I sleep more, it's like my brain is saying I give up and let it go. Unfortunately, my brain even likes to think some clock is ticking even on weekends, and so I rarely am able to sleep in - but of course, they say it get's worse as you age :(.

If you enjoy chamomile tea, a warm Cup of it right before bedtime, while relaxing will calm the mind as well. Also, ginger honey tea will relax the body too.
soooo i notice what helps me to sleep and get the best sleep is to go do some pushups or run power yourself out before, for 5 to 15 minutes with some rock music like deltaparole that pumps, cuz that takes ma mind off of sleeping and i can sleep easier once i dont think about it no more.
The tossing and turning at 0:25 is literally me trying to get comfortable 😂

Another way that my grandma taught me was this: Step 1: lay on your back Step 2: tell your feet to go to sleep and slightly wiggle them Do this and work your way up. Don't get mad or leave a bad comment if you don't agree with me, cuz this might not work for everyone.

Fastest way to stop your thoughts to sleep... lay down, listen to your thoughts then ask yourself "what will my next thought be?"... then wait. For some reason your thoughts will stop, because you are waiting for your next thought. It's weird but it works.

I take about 2 minutes on side rt then left. Knees slightly bent and n btwn sides lay on back to do a liitle more than 3 minutes relaxing feet towards head..sometimes i need gentle relaxing music. Rain or tibetan or tsi chi music is good..often falling a sleep b4 turning music off..feels more relaxation..

the best way for me is to start reading very boring, thick book and fall asleep or just take a cozy blanket ,shut down the eyes and think of a beautiful things in the world and go to sleep

I bend my knees while seeping from childhood till now, that's pose is really so calming, relexing for my backbone n for seeping
The vagus nerve activation helps. This activates your parasympathetic nervous system.Try relaxing your and unwinding your ears. Moving your eyes laterally to the corners and holding for over 30 seconds also helps. As I focus on these techniques sleep comes quicker and easier for me.

Why would you want to sleep like a baby??? They wake up every 2 to 4 hours. I want to sleep like a teenager. They can sleep 12 hours with a belt sander in the next room.

True, I get about 9-10 hours of sleep and I fall asleep within 30 minutes usually. So I'm good :3

Cassandra Cromwell that’s coz most of them are on drugs, so yeah they crash after being up for so long. I know this fact.

Thanks I needed this. Resent me and my family moved to Florida and it gave me anxiety. And I’ve been waking up at exactly 2:00 am then I go to my mom and dads bed. My dad and mom haven’t gotten sleep because of me. So I need to sleep though the night!

Yup, I can see they would 'resent you' :) I hope you got used to sleeping alone again by now. You have amazing parents, mine would just have put me back in my own bed. No use nurturing old behaviour-paterns you have outgrown as a toddler.

Go to bed and if you don’t fall in sleep within 45 minutes then walk up go outside for walk and relax for 10 to 15 minute then come to room and start sleeping .. 100% work

I don't have any trouble going to sleep. I wake up around 3 am.and have trouble going back to sleep. Eating some protein and/ or playing my word game helps me get back to sleep

That's what I was thinking. That wave exercise could be risky for an older person with back issues.
Me at school: ugh I'm so sleepy I wanna sleep so bad! Me at night wanting to sleep at night bc of school: UGH I WANNA SLEEP BUT I AM NOT SLEEPY AT ALL. *finally sleeping hours later..* *Mom comes to room to wake me up* (I'm 12 don't ask me it's weird that my mom wakes me up please.) Me: God.., I wanna sleep. Leave me alone momma .💤
