    @@KickItNaturally Hi! Wanted to give you an update. I am almost 100% sure that have chronic giardia infection that gives off SIBO symptoms. For some reason Giardia coats entire small intestine and prevents bile from getting abosrbed properly and it slows down my gut motility and if i eat too much i start to belch with a sulfur like smell. My symptoms are inflammation that causes me arthritis, mild bloating, slowed down gut motility due fat malabsorption caused by Giardia. I dont get any diarrheas, i spent last year doing 12 liver/gallbladder flashes to the point that after 12th one there was not a single stone present. I did that cuz i thought I had bile flow problem in the first place but the issue actually stems from Giardia sitting in my small intestine. There is actually not much information on this topic. Wonder what are your thoughts?

    A recent blood test showed I am low in zinc so I’ve been supplementing with a chelated form that also has a small amount of Betaine hcl. It’s a tiny pill I at at night on empty stomach, 15 mg/tablet. After supplementing for two wks my night vision improved significantly!! I am so excited, I’m no longer afraid to drive at night alone. This also helps w keeping my blood sugar in check. I’m not overweight, never been. In fact recently I’ve been under what I consider healthy for me. But these videos have been an absolute blessing and so comprehensive which makes it easy to understand. This explains why my iron and b12 are constantly low and hard to keep in normal range. I have been supplementing w betaine for a week and the results have been nothing short of AMAZING 🙌🏽 Thank you Tony & your team of researchers. If mild to occasional stomach acid, especially due to stress. My no. 1 suggestion is make a pot of Casscara Sagrada ( go ask at a Mexican Supermarket, they will sell packets of it). Keep a big Tea Pot on the stove all week with it after you have brewed it.. Take a 8 oz. glass every morning as soon as you wake up and the same before going to bed. It will TRANQUILIZE your stomach instantly in 30 seconds! Better and 1- 20th the cost of Zantac and works a whole lot quicker. Casscara Sagrada is a Tree Bark, some say it is actually Quinine, I do not know. Keep the bark in the Tea Pot all week and as you poor it out in the morning and evening poor additional water into your glass so its the color of common Iced Tea. A bag will probably cost you $3.00 and last you for about 2 to 3 months. Is that cheap enough. I used this for over 30 years, and 100 pct. natural.

  • @chriseraphim

    That's very good but cascara shouldn't really be used daily. It's a strong herbal laxative that's great in short term uses as needed, but when taken long term it can make the bowel a bit dependant on it. Then when go without constipation can come back very strongly. It works by forcing peristaltic action in the bowel so it pushes things along faster. It's better to have breaks from it and use more magnesium to go regularly.

    Yeah, apple cider vinegar can help if a person just needs a little boost. But if a person has a significant problem, they're not going to fix it without supplements so just keep that in mind. Hey Tony! Thanks for another insightful video!! I have a question regarding betaine HCL. Is this supplement something that you will have to take forever or does your stomach acid eventually start to regulate itself back to normal after some time (with the usage of betaine of course)? Thank you 🙏🏻

  • @KickItNaturally

    @KickItNaturally

    Жыл бұрын

    Thanks @Dylan Conradie , We cover this in more depth in our free digestion course found here: kickitnaturally.com/course But the idea is that if you can create digestion using HCL, your body should eventually have enough resources that it can start making more of it's own HCL. How long that takes can vary wildly from person to person. But as long as a person is also using the Beet Flow we talk about here: www.naturalreference.com/product To ensure bile is thin enough to flow correctly, they should be able to create that sizzle that helps them pull all the nutrients out of their food and speed that process up. Let us know how it goes.

That may not be the exact word he used, but it's been over five years and I can't recall for sure. His belief was that pure white salt was better. from my experience stomach acid is strongly correlated with metabolism. when you have body temp in the 95s or even 94s and a resting heart rate under 60 your stomach acid will be low. it's such a costly thing for the body to make.

    I agree that it is a costly thing for the body to make, but I see it as more of a problem when blood pressure is low, more than pulse. But interesting that you're seeing other correlations too.

    HI, every case is different and there's no way for me to know unless someone is a client and I dig into their chemistry. But there is a hierarchy, generally speaking. Like, an electrolyte imbalance is usually a priority over a sympathetic imbalance, etc. Too much to type out here, but I explain this in my book that you can download for free in the description of this video. But the good news is that a person can just supplement with HCL as long as they are also using Beet Flow and they can continue that until they fix enough things that the body can start making it's own HCL.

I have read that enzymes should be taken about 10 minutes before a meal and that they don't like acidity. Of course taking hcl will create an acidic environment. When should they both be taken?

    In our free digestion course, we teach people to use HCL seperately from enzymes, so you can adjust the dose as needed. The very small amount of HCL in digestizyme is not meant to replace HCL. It is just a boost. The other ingredients are meant to help the body make more of it's own HCL so a person does not need to use it as often. ACV is appropriate for someone who is insulin resistant because it is pro-anabolic and pushing them more in that direction can help some people process glucose more effectively. But that doesn't mean it's strong enough to truly help some people acidify their food correctly. Like everything, it's about looking at the person and not sure their symptoms. You need to look at where their chemistry is.

    I have consistent symptoms of low stomach acid. Speckles of undigested food in my stool, extremely stubborn constipation, burping immediately after eating, tons of bloating and flatulence, burning and reflux, vitamin deficiencies, fatigue, etc. But when I tried to supplement with Betaine, even just 200mg, I got reflux and the warming sensation. I’ve watched all your videos about Betaine and reflux, and I read your 4 week course, so I totally understand why it would cause the reflux, but why the warming?? It kicked in within ten minutes, and made my whole body feel warm, starting in my stomach/chest and spreading from there. I’m at a complete loss here, because I have all these symptoms that scream low stomach acid, but even a tiny bit of Betaine seems to be too much. But digestive bitters and ACV don’t seem to do anything except cause some pain in my stomach/chest. Could this all be due to gastritis? I’m currently working on healing that with collagen, glutamine, slippery elm, and DGL. Is it possible that once my gut lining, the warming sensation will go away and I can properly supplement with Betaine? I’m feeling so overwhelmed and discouraged. I feel like I’m on the right track, but have this major hurdle blocking me. I’m beyond desperate for answers here, and none of my doctors seem willing to help.

What is helping me a little is taking a blend of common enzymes (Acid Protease, Amylase and Lipase). I saw your video about Ox bile and I ended up a little confused, some people on reddit say that this supplement together with UDCA helped to cleanse the intestine against SIBO/SIFO but you advise against using it as it reduced stomach acidity even more, could these two supplements have antimicrobial action? Hello. I have recently started with the hcl to make more stomach acid. I make to take them with no starchy of sugary meals everytime. But what about fruit? Is that allowed too?

    Zinc appears to be slightly pro-anabolic for most people.

    I don't really view it that way. I view it like the HCL supplements supply the stomach with the acid needed to break down their food so they can access the minerals in that food. That can often give the body the minerals it needs so it can start to make more of it's own HCL and then the person should be able to continue to reduce their dose until they don't need to supplement with HCL anymore. We teach all about this in our free digestion course found here: kickitnaturally.com/course
