4 Signs you are still not a MATURE PERSON

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Maturity doesn't come with age, it comes with experiences of life and your willingness to change your approach towards things as per that.
Do you know if you really are a mature individual, even though you have matured age wise?
This video will show you that people are not as mature as they think they are. These are the traits that immature people usually have; if you are someone who is like that then there is a need
to improve.

Just make sure you don't judge others who haven't yet reached maturity, they need help, so help them. We must help each other. Add being judgemental of others is also a sign of immaturity.

Maturity is also accepting people's as they are . Never compare your quality to another it makes a barrier. Different people have their own qualities so never judge them on the basis of only education.

Maturity in my opinion is to remain calm under adverse situations and tackle the problems rather than hyperventilating about them. Also includes not giving a damn about negative criticism and continue with your work if you think it's right. A mature person listens more, speaks when necessary and is focused about his goals. Nice video.

Naren kumar sahoo that’s basically my life, right there, no one understands me in school and I’m only 15. It kinda sucks to be mature. I have annoying people wanting to be my friend when all they do is talk shit on me and they think it’s funny. When it’s stupid. I can’t stand up for myself and tell them to shut up and don’t even acknowledge my existence because I hate them and won’t even get it because they’re too immature and ignorant to understand my pain on them. I don’t even wanna fight them, I just wanna gone from life. I do not know what to do because it sounds childish to fight over name calling and just be annoying in general. I’m sitting here wondering how to deal with immature people. Because I’m gonna look immature for getting sensitive and weird looking if I throw anger at them. Why can’t everyone just try to mind their own business and just chill. I feel outcasted in school everyday because I have loneliness for not expressing myself. I rarely talk to anyone in school because I’m always bored and tired of hearing worlds’ problems. And I have no confidence at all for having a girlfriend or more friends because I act boring and just a normal being. People just like blabber and blabber about anything. Like they can’t come with something more original and new. Imagine surrounding yourself around people like this every single day of your life. And just knowing you’ll die without being satisfied with yourself. The way I see the world is nothing but a thing. In reality, what so bad about the universe being destroyed and we all die. Nothing. But, what ever, I know I sound like a complete hypocrite but, I’m just giving a comment and probably don’t give a damn. This is why people do weed. Weed makes me feel more comfortable, relaxed, confident, socializing, and actually care about the life. I wonder if you actually took your time reading this.

People hyperventilate because they've been holding it in for so long and it finally bursts open. And they are not taking any drug. I've come to realize that most people need something to get through life whether it be a drug or a person. If you can remain calm in all situations, it is either a sign of maturity or a sign you don't give a damn. Be a man they're perfect for this. Our best generals were all men. Women were taught to care more that is probably become emotional. People do get tired of being ignored. The Narcissist always remains calm, because they have no feelings or emotions anymore. Hence Robots and artificial intelligence. I've learned to stay away from people who want to see you react instead of really help you or be your friend these people are devious and divisive and just pure out evil.

maturity feels more like how you deal with your emotions, relationships and situations, and seeing situations from a wide perspective rather than narrowing down on something tiny frequently running away from situations and refusing to deal with pressing issues in relationships, letting your emotions get the better of you, letting your ego get the better of you, prioritising your self image, not owning up to your actions and the effect they had, all feel like immaturity

The only thing unnacceptable for me is when she judges how chubby I am, and I thought judging people based on their looks is considered immaturity. That is when you dont have the girl yet. The perfect example i can show you is when you got work to do (a job that you love) but at the same time your girlfriend asks you to go watch movies together. So a wise man would choose his job over his girl. Even if there's a girl you like, you should not prioritize her more than your career/purpose. Tip: A job that you don't enjoy is NOT your goal. Leave it if you have one :)

One thing that I learned when I was younger that really helped me a lot was: If someone insults you or says something about you ask yourself "Is it true?" If it's not, calmly tell them they're wrong and don't worry about it. If it IS true, ask yourself "Is this something I need to fix/ is this a problem area?" If the answer is no, stand proud as you are. Be yourself. Maybe you might want to explain your views, but that's about it. However, if it is something you need to change, then work on changing that part of your life. Calming down and analyzing insults and what people say about me through this method really helped me a lot. My elementary school life was me reacting and blowing up at insults and me losing my cool, to in high-school (I figured this out late in elementary) I was more calm and thoughtful about things. Saved my life. Thank you Mrs. Naylor.

Then i heard that maybe i was bullied because they think i was a snob for not friendly with them,so i tried to change by smiling more and try to talk, but the next thing is i heard that one of them called me slut behind my back, i revert to being quiet and ignored them again. i realized that i prefer being called a snob rather than a slut. When i went to college, nothing like that ever happen. It really put my self esteem down really bad back then.but now i am glad to never have to meet them again.

Maturity doesn’t make you happy tho.Based on these symptoms, seems like once I was a mature guy too,how interesting it is that I have grown up to be immature! I used to not care about my look,I tended to keep all my feelings inside,I was nearly emotionless,I didn’t complain about hard work, instead,I just keep working.I was used to be offended, never defended myself, and I didn’t want people to know my problems. How miserable I was and still am,but now I know I can do my hair in a different way or I can at least not to wear the same clothing everyday. I used to work 15hours everyday without knowing how morbid it is for a middle schooler. And sharing my feelings and problems really make me feel good, people are suppose to help and share with people all the time,it’s really nice to get your feelings out. It’s ok to be immature, being immature doesn’t mean you’re inferior, people in general tend to admire mature people and mature lifestyle ,because society is giving people standards and pressures, society always wants us to be mature,it could be a tradition that pass down from former time, when only a small group of people rule the world, these group of people needed obedient people with a great “ethic” and less self-consciousness to help them shaping their world,we were been told it’s always better to restrain yourself. In fact,we do need mature and efficient people to develop the world, but I don’t like the idea of having to force oneself into maturity,it’s ok to be who you are, just to find your balances

I also don’t like what he says about immature people only care about themselves, immaturity doesn’t equal to selfishness, maybe immature people have a tendency of being selfish, but it’s still very immature and superficial of him to make such a conclusion.Even I don’t think he is mature enough,he speaks things in a bitter tone, which makes him sounds like a person who pretends he is mature, it’s the most immature thing to do,but he has a right to express his opinion, and I try my best to not judge his personality

From what I'm reading, I don't think you've grown immature at all. To me it just sounds like you've grown confidence and a backbone. Frankly, I think another sign of maturity is not that you hold in your feelings, but rather that you're able to vent and express it in a civil and kind manner. And taking care of yourself physically or wearing certain clothes and styling your hair a certain way in order to express yourself isn't immature. I think what the video meant to say was that if you take your looks WAY too seriously, to a point where your happiness depends on whether or not you look good that day, you have a toxic and immature mentality. And people who don't stand up for themselves (mind you, in a calm and neutral tone, and also during the right situation where it's appropriate and you know the way the other person is treating you is unjust) or cannot express their emotions are slightly immature in a way as well, at least I think. So in other words, people like me. haha So basically, I think you've actually grown more mature over the years, but I don't think you realize that because you have a different idea of what maturity is. I suppose it subjective, but I personally don't find you particularly immature. You're not perfect, every one has room for improvement, but you're on the right path, to maturity that is.

Have to disagree with the appearance issue. I see people going to work wearing jeans and not caring about their appearance. Mature people get out of bed, take pride in their appearance and look the part. Not some 35 year old dressing like he just came from the skateboard park.

  • @Top-Lip

    @Top-Lip

    6 жыл бұрын

MrJoefizzy Thats actually got nothing to do with maturity and is rather a superficial influence based on notions of what is normal or culturally acceptable in your environment. That's entirely dependent on what is popular in your environment aswell as different countries have different styles. That will change over time, and is entirely dependent on the workplace, the universal notion of looking smart would be incompatible in a nuclear plant for example, or in an environment where health and safety equipment is necessary. Taking pride in appearance is actually something that is very superficial and unnecessary, and fuels emotionally immature behavior like narcissism and competition. It's often something people do during young adulthood when looking for a relationship or trying to impress friends or not feel judged. People who pay a great deal of attention to how they externally look often do so to compromise for internal discrepancies, the stronger the discrepancies and the deeper the insecurity, the more emphasis on the external image. too much attention to external image, could actually be symptomatic of insecurity, anxiety or a self conscious mentality. Over time, many people actually mature and tend to grow out of this behavior, especially when they are retired. Its not so much not caring, but rather letting go of superficial attachments that burden people during youth, in favor of prioritizing things which are more productive and beneficial for personal development. Such attachments are not necessary for the entirety of an individual's life journey. Adults are often very immature and that's ok, because people cannot expect to have a lifetimes worth of experience before they have actually lived. People don't usually truly mature until their life journey is close to an end, that's when people tend to reflect upon their life choices the most.

You know... Growing up isn't so bad, sure you'll have to think more about your life, think about taxes, your work, your house, ecc... But... You learn somethings too, you learn to take the life with philosophy sometimes instead of just crying over everything, you become more intelligent and learn to think by yourself and stand up for yourself. Growing up is underrated and overrated at the same time lol.

I always have had a problem with how people express the general attitude towards speaking out about problems. Whilst some say it's self-pity, attention grabbing and playing the victim, others find it's a way to allow one to releave themselves of stress. I think it's important that we make a clear boundary between expressing your troubles and fishing for attention. Because this unclear statement has caused many people I know to lock away feelings which cause them great harm.

Bitter Truth lol I am just saying that his information wrong, and your shows why this is necessary. You see this video and blindly accept the information without researching or questioning the facts. To be honest nothing in this video is correct, it is all based on opinions. On his definitions of being an adult. He has to provide sources or researches to back up his claims.

Bitter Truth you still said I was immature for defending, which I wasn't even doing. And yes people are that gullible, that's why Trump is now the president of the U.S.A, he randomly claims stuff without facts or research and people believe him. And sure there are less good researchers, but what does have to do with anything. Generally those researches don't get used, or when they do, they get proven wrong which leaves the claim with no support.

I dont think being reactive should be classified as being 'immature'. Being reactive is just a different way some people handle their emotions. Its unhealthy to bottle it all inside and sometimes it is actually healtier to talk it out. By your definition, does it mean one should be stoic when their loved one just passed away? Or got murdered? Having the ability to feel and express emotion is a human's basic right. Of course it doesnt make it okay to vent your anger on someone by screaming at them, but it shldnt be classified as immature, but rather the person is possibly going through some serious depression or mood disorder in life, and may need help. Either that, the person generally does not respect people.

Kevin Noh Emotional Maturity is honestly one of the hardest values to achieve, and few are able to do so. Physical maturity is the easiest, just physically grow up Mental Maturity is what most people have as they age Emotional maturity on the other hand... Controlling one’s emotions can be both good or bad depending on the situation. One who is emotionally mature is able to sense when its approperiate to lament about their feelings and express emotions as well as knowing when not to do so. Eg. If you have been struggling with an issue, knowing it will cause problems in the future, (pet peeve of a friend doing something u dislike), it would be mature to find the right time to tell him/her.

@@smallyk99 there are times when expressing strong emotions is totally justified and there are times when it isnt . being able to tell when that is and being able to control it in that way is a good indicator of maturity in other words, discernment . defensivness and outrage can be justified and beneficial in certain circumstances .
