Definitely needed to hear this, I’ve been dating this guy for a little over three months now and communication started slipping around the second month. I addressed it with him a few times, and he had made excuses about him previous relationships or just who he is and not being good with his phone. Though he is overall a good man, I do require communication and I’ve been telling myself that it is time to end the relationship, because I am not getting the communication that I desire/require

It sounds like you've been really patient and understanding with him. It's important to have your needs met in a relationship, and if he's not meeting them, it's okay to move on.

I hate to say this, but I've seen quite a few men from the previous generations (Boomers, gen-x) who have all of these flaws, and they've been married for decades. It's actually concerning.

I'm an introvert...but I'm very big on communication. Introvert applies to society as a whole...me not being sooo outgoing and all that in public. But he should be able to communicate with you good...cause you're his partner. If he's soooo introverted that he can't even open up to you...then idk. Up to you to either stay with him until he gets comfortable enough with you...or keep it moving.
