We challenged chefs of three different skill levels - amateur Shariff, home cook Lorenzo, and professional chef Jameeale Arzeno - to wow us with their best roast pork recipe. Once each level of chef had presented their final product, we asked food scientist Rose to explain their choices from an expert's perspective. Which pork would be first for your fork?

The Level 2 chefs make this series. They're not just great cooks but they all have such likeable personalities. Lorenzo, in particular, just seems like he'd be an awesome guy to hangout with.

Not really, he took off the skin from the Chinese pork belly which is the BEST PART of the Chinese pork belly. The skin gets super crisp and delicious. Look it up: Siew Yoke. Still looks nice with that liver sauce, so credit where it's due :)

@@sthk1998 @0:28 He literally said it's Lechon, which is a Filipino version of pork belly. It's really similar especially how it's cooked, but Siu Yuk and Lechon is very different to me.

Finally a video where I LITERALLY will eat all of those meals happily until my stomach hurts... and then eat more because they all look amazing! Also, Props to the level 1 Chef. Roasted pork is my jam and he executed it perfectly.

It’s so refreshing to see a Level 1 chef who actually knows his way around a kitchen and then some! I enjoyed all three recipes, immensely!

Don't know whether it is the fact that I love the simplicity of the level 1 chef or just because he is the only one that paired the pork with potatoes, but level 1 looks the best tbh

Well... Your preference of food choices.. Also boils down to the culture you are mostly exposed in.. Level 1= American style Level 2=Filipino Style Level 3= Puerto Rico style (the chef said it herself)

Anyone else notice how dull the professional chefs knife was?!! I was scared she was gonna cut herself with how hard she was sawing in to score the meat.

Someone please get Shariff a promotion! He's absolutely level 2 material. Lorenzo! Always good to have him on an episode, solid as ever. Jameeale made an amazing looking dish! Epi needs to sharpen their knives tho... That pork skin was putting up way too much of a fight.

I literally yelled out when I saw him wash the rice with a colander and used a measuring cup for the water. Just use a rice cooker.
