If its a plastic polymer fabric it shouldnt matter. Youre essentially fusing plastic to plastic. Dont breathe it in lol

@@jrod5113I took it the opposite way.... she has so many new possibilities at her fingertips. Imagine how exciting...things never imagined are now not only possible, but fast and easy. No sculpting, working with dangerous adhesives, etc. She will be able to bring something new and innovative that is sure to impress. Hopefully she will come back and let us know which way she means it though!

That is insane 🤯 You are spot on with the cosplay armor idea. Flexible, movable, breathable.. it’s all there. I have a feeling that over the course of the next few years we will see tons of incredible things come to life through using this process. I truly believe this is an absolute game changer for the industry as a whole. Excited is an understatement !!

Even like custom facial prosthetic pieces!! Get some nude fabric for it, use some pros-aid or latex to apply and blend edges into the skin. Would love to see someone try 😍

Iris Van Harpen pretty much started this off in the fashion industry. I’m happy the technique is getting picked up more by different designers and moving with a life of its own. The potential for creativity is so great.
For cosplay and maybe even fashion, this has the potential to be revolutionary.

I saw another girl on KZread who actually created an entire cosplay costume on a 3d printer and it was one of the coolest things I've ever seen
Oh my god. With the amount of creativity already in the cosplay community, i just CANNOT wait to see what they do with this technique now.

I'm glad everyone realizes that this would be amazing for cosplay, it could make 3d parts so much easier
My mind immediately went to the Imperial dragonscale armor from Morrowind.
I'm so impressed by the 3D printing community and their brilliance. I like that 3D printing has enabled these people to bring their ideas to life. They're brilliant engineers.

I do this but I like a little stretch in the fabric, bc it’s more forgiving when actually sewing panels of scales together.
