I have watched a KZread channel from a British watchmaker and he has refinished a couple of those Sears watches. I believe he said many have the Heuer movements.

Beautiful skindivers ! The reason I think people believe that the Tradition skin diver mk1 was assembled by Blancpain is because the case (called MC4) is the same as the first generations of Blancpain and Waltham bathyscaphes. But plenty of other brands were using that case in that time, like Mondia, Marc Nicolet, Vetta, Squale, ... in fact, Mondia made the exact same watch as the Tradition, only differences were black dial & the markers, which were orange and unlumed.

Wow they are awsome I absolutely love vintage skin divers... I recently brought 3.... A cardinal submarine which I believe is made by sicura, a Mortima which is made in France, and a Sicura... 👍

Vintage skin divers look very cool. I love seeing stuff like this on KZread. I watch a lot of watch dealer videos and I'm starting to get sick of seeing the same brands and models over and over and over again, the Patek 5711s, the Rolex Submariners and Daytonas, the fugly and tasteless Richard Milles..... same shit all the time. Nice to see stuff like this. I have a vintage Cimier skin diver from the 60s I paid about $150 for and I wear it as much as my Tudor Black Bay. Thanks for the vid.

I was just looking at a vintage Waltham on Thursday, not the one in your video but a dress watch for £195. There are some beautiful vintage pieces out there looking for new homes. It came serviced with a 6 month warranty, I'm tempted. Interesting vid, cheers mate.

Another great video my man. I bought a vintage diver called “Chateau”. It’s really hard to find any info on it as well. I’ll get around to making a video of it somehow!

Amazing how there's basically nothing out there on that Sears diver. After watching the video, I did my own search 🧐 I was able to confirm your suspicion that the caseback is not the right one. The proper one is sterile in the center section. However, on the inside of the caseback, it's stamped: SEARS ROEBUCK CO SWISS MADE
