I don't know why these creators never include the name of the watches in a text format like that, takes 2 minutes to do it, and such a pain in the ass to search for a watch without that.

Your assessment of the Speedmaster is 100% correct. I have no idea how on earth it can look and feel so good on my 6 3/8" wrist and I've given up trying to figure it out. My Seiko (SKX style) 7548 and 6306 from the 80's prove you're right about them too. Good work as always.

This is a great vid Teddie. I have a 7.6” wrist and I’ve always struggled in my mind with wearing watches below 41mm. That is until I decided to start trying out different styles. I bought a Tissot PRX from you actually and was the first watch under 41mm I ever owned. On the bracelet for me it does wear a little small. But and this is a big but, when you take it off the bracelet and put the OEM strap on it, the thing wears like a dream! It completely transformed it. I just bought a new Tudor BB41 on the jubilee it’s gorgeous. I have numerous 40mm GMTs and others now that all wear nice. I think you have to open up your mind if you have a small wrist or a larger one like mine. Lastly, do a video showing strap choices and how they transform a watch because the strap makes a massive difference!

i think the majority of 38 to 40mm 3 handers on the market with little to no mirror polished surfaces will look good on virtually all male wrists in almost all scenarios. you can wear them casually, as sports watch or as a dress piece too. ones with too many mirror polished surfaces just don't look right outside of formal-ish occasions.

@@oleksandrmorozov1446 male wrist watches used to be 34-36mm. people used to think 38 is ridiculous. but then the invictas in the world started to warp some people's preference. my dad wears an IWC IW1827, a 34mm watch from 1970. no one in his life has ever said it looks like toy.

@@Ballachathis is why I tend to like vintage and vintage style watches. My dress watch is 36mm and my daily wear field is 37mm. Mind you, I have small 6" wrists, but even still, I still tend to prefer the smaller case sizes for the aesthetic reason alone. But it's all taste. I'm just glad a lot of the manufacturers are starting to go smaller in case sizing again, because I happen to love that 36-38mm range.

I think part of the reason the Speedmaster Professional wears smaller is because the bezel is about 40mm. From the side, the case is broken up a lot so it appears thinner than it is as well. I think my Baby Alpinist actually wears thicker than the Speedmaster Professional!

I got sucked into the whole “smaller is better” craze and got smaller watches. I still own many of them, like my 34mm 1953 Oyster perpetual, which often adorns my wrist. But I found myself gravitating back toward full size 42mm divers. 42 works for me and my 7.5 inch wrist, but I feel like a lot of those watches like my SMP 300 get shamed in the watch enthusiast community these days.

I agree completely with the BB58 not looking right on larger wrists. I wanted to love the full blue dial 58 so badly, and even bought one, but took it back to the AD a week later because it just looked like a child's watch. It's weird too - the 42mm or 41mm watches I have aren't THAT much larger - but man do they feel like it.

The Mido Baroncelli Heritage is an affordable 39 mm dress watch that's quite thin, with very compact (45 mm) lugs. I have a rose gold that looks fantastic on a strap or on a metal mesh bracelet - it looks much more expensive than it is. Actually, almost any watch with a 46-47 mm lug-to-lug will work on the majority of wrists. Just pick a case diameter that appeals to you.

I wish you guys would do a side by side comparison of the wrists sizes for all watches. I wanted to see that Seiko 5 on a wrist that isn’t 7.5+ inches. I know it’s supposed to wear smaller than the 42mm case indicates, but I want to see the larger size on a smaller wrist. I feel like 7.63” is way larger than the average wrist, so of course a 42mm looks good on that wrist.

It's fantastic and extremely comfortable. I also have the Seamaster 300 and it's just a little too big for me. It doesn't look comical, but it just doesn't sit right. Excellent content. Thankyou. If you're thinking about a Pelagos 39, really try the Pelagos 42 or FXD. It wears really well. It's very subtle, not being in any way shiny. Stealth personified. By that argument, anything too shiny can dominate your wrist in an unpleasant way. It looks like you're trying quite hard. And that just isn't cool. Rolex, AP, and PP are all guilty of this. Perhaps time has changed for the better?

Could you please review Seiko's SSEH001-006 line of Cartier tank homage watches? Although it's a women's watch I would like to know if it is suitable for men's with smaller wrist?

14:43 I am educated by another Speedmaster Owner on this point, but the official stats of 42mm dial size on the Speedmaster Moonwatch is actually a bit deceiving. This measurement seems to be the measurement of 10 to 4 o'clock INCLUDING the chronograph pusher. If you only measure 10 to 4 o'clock from the rim of tachymeter bezel to the other rim of the tachymeter bezel (which is the common understanding of measurement of "dial size"), it is actually around 40mm (my last measurement is 39.9mm). That is why the watch has a 42mm "stated" dial size but can fit a variety of wrist sizes.

Great work TEDDY to choose these nice watches. I like the OMEGA speedmaster, the longines ZULU TIME, the BRIETLING Premier, the JLC master ultra thin Moon and the PATEK PHILIPPE Calatrava . Enough watches for one full life. Even if i am not a great fan of ROLEX, i must say that the ROLEX DAYTONA is wonderful . a watche that we can't forget !!!!

I picked up a knock-off moonswatch, because getting real seemed impossible and the chance of getting a fake parading as real online seemed high. So I knowingly bought fake. It's got me wanting to see a real Omega Speed Master and maybe make that my grail watch. I like the sizing, I actually like the velcro strap, and as long as the real thing isn't crazy heavy I could see rocking that daily. I just love the look, and I'd maybe throw on the velcro or a nato, which maybe sacrilegious but I'd be ok with that. Or black leather.

Teddy I own a 1861 Man on the Moon and what you say is true but if there is anyone doubting its wearabilty i would also suggest the first Omega in Space which is a 39.7 diameter if my memory doesnt fail me and that will put the nail in the coffin on the matter of size

my G-shock is a DW5600 basically (one of the midnight fog ones, can't remember the ref number exactly) and I have an 8.2 inch wrist. I love how it fits, and the only thing i would change is a longer strap option! Not completely necessary but really the only length that works for me is the very last hole on the strap

Hi, I have a 6 3/4" wrist n 38-39 do seem a tad small on my wrist.. 42-43 seem perfect on me n max I can pull of is about 45.. just for your reference, could be my own preference 😅😅😅... Another point to consider is the lug to lug..

People should measure their wrist width and then compare it to the watch’s lug to lug. Wrist circumference doesn’t really help since everyone’s wrist has different roundness or flatness.
